vVv Gaming is a values-driven community of adults founded in 2007 as the first LGBTQ+-founded esports organization. Originally built around competitive gaming across titles like Gears of War, League of Legends, and Call of Duty, vVv now focuses on personal growth, meaningful friendships, and shared play through its Heart-Mind-Will framework. vVv was founded by Jerry Prochazka, who also runs Strategy & The Machine, an AI consulting practice, and Picacho Mountain Gaming, a local tabletop community in Las Cruces, NM.

Today, the competition is different — we're focused on becoming better people, not just better players. But the spirit is the same.

vVv Gaming started as an esports organization in 2007 and competed in over 50 tournaments across 15+ titles. Today the community has evolved beyond competitive gaming. We are a group of adults who play games together, push each other to grow, and build real friendships. The competitive heritage is part of our story, not the whole story.
Nothing. vVv Gaming is free to join. There are no dues, subscriptions, or pay-to-play requirements. We are a community, not a service.
vVv Gaming is an adult community, primarily ages 25 to 45. We welcome anyone 18 and older who aligns with our values, but the conversations and culture skew toward people with some life experience under their belt.
Heart, Mind, and Will are the three pillars that guide how we build community. Heart covers emotional intelligence, kindness, and generosity. Mind covers curiosity, intellectual humility, and open-mindedness. Will covers courage, grit, and growth mindset. These are not decorations on a website. They are how we evaluate new people, navigate conflict, and hold each other accountable.
No. We play everything from board games to TTRPGs to competitive multiplayer titles, and skill levels vary across the community. What matters is showing up with genuine interest and treating people well. The games are the medium. The relationships are the point.
