Team Captain Please Answer the Following:

How long has this roster been playing together? We been playing for about a year together.

Where do the players live in relation to one another? CauZeD lives in Los Angeles California, BazerK lives in Los Angeles California, Fusion lives in Washington Seattle, Regulate ( Myself ) I live back in Hartford Connecticut.

What are your team’s accomplishments? With this exact roster? Links? If this exact roster has not accomplished anything, please list each player's accomplishments with supporting links.

We participated in the Newegg wanfest tournament when the game was the most active with the most competition and beat some amazing teams, such as FaZe, LvG, Gz, HeXp. After this tournament we found out that MLG was not going to add MW3 to the circuit so we stopped playing. So as of right now were just playing GB and scrimming till Black Ops 2 comes out.

http://wanfest.neweg...le&stageid=4453

http://wanfest.neweg...le&stageid=4454

We also competed in like 6 PTG Lan events when I was living out in California. Myself, CauZeD, and BazerK all lived like 5-10 minutes close. So we went to them and won them all. I dont got pictures but If you go on our youtube page we have some videos on their. We also played a 2v2 tournament that was huge and Optic Merk and Proofy were their. We beat them in the finals myself and cauzed.

What are your team's latest tournament results? Please provide support links and any links to supporting pictures.

What is the team's next event online? LAN? Well hopefully the next CoD Event.

If you've been sponsored before, who was your best sponsor? Why? We been sponsored before by no other than vVv of course. I completely fell in love with it, just because the way the the community treated us and of course supported us. We had a great fan base and of course I would love to have it back.

Why are you no longer with them? Well I quit awhile back and the sponsor got taken away.

What was your worst sponsor? Why? VWS, reason why they never put their words into action.

What do you hope to achieve with your team? Win every event and online tournament when Black Ops 2 comes out.

Who do you see as your toughest competition? I really dont know as of right now, but I can see us doing huge things.

What do you think the team needs to improve on the most? In my opinion I dont think we need anything as of right now. We were one of the best SnD teams in mw3 and amazing on CTF. We will just have to wait till Black Ops 2 drops.

What are your short term goals for the team? Long term? Well my short terms goals are simple, I just want us to make sure we are all on the same page when the game drops and have the same mentality as I do which is grind. My long term is we " WILL NOT " change rosters seing as I haven't done it in a while and we don't need it. We just get better as a whole staying together, learned it the hard way and so far its worked for both gears, cod, socom, rainbow, etc.

How long have you been playing competitively? I myself have been playing competitively since socom dropped for the ps2.

How many hours during the week do you play CoD? Well as of right now I myself play around 2-3, when blacks ops 2 drops I'll be very ACTIVE. I can't really say, but all I know is my team will be grinding hard.

How many hours during the week do you dedicate towards reviewing gameplay and major tournaments? I myself do it everyday as much as possible, if my team isn't on I review our gameplay and correct our mistakes.

How many hours during the week do you play CoD as a team? Together when we are active we play probably around 5-6 hours.

What are your latest tournament results? Please provide links to brackets, threads, supporting pictures, etc.

http://wanfest.neweg...le&stageid=4453

http://wanfest.neweg...le&stageid=4454

What is your next online event? LAN? Hopefully MLG when CoD drops.

Have you attended any national events? I have only 1, but I competed for halo reach.

Are you shy around people you don't know? No I am not! Very friendly to be around and outgoing.

What do you hope to achieve as a player for vVv Gaming? Well I want to do everything I can to make vVv bigger than it already is. As of right now everyone should know about vVv whoever doesn't I want to be the person that introduces them to vVv.

Who do you see as your toughest competition? As of right now I really can't say, we will just have to wait till CoD drops.

What does being a professional gamer mean to you? Well I just think being a professional gamer is just very inspiring to people. To me it means I am one of the best players in the world and can compete with anyone at anytime. I love it because I just love the feeling when you win tournaments, also the competition and knowing that you can be the best. It's a video game yes, but to me its more than just a video game.

How do you think you can improve as a player? As a member of the eSports community? Just learn from everyone and anyone. I learn things all the time from public matches, scrims, twitters, videos, mlg, people. It's just amazing how some people really cant see this.

How long have you been playing competitively? I've been playing competitively since I was thirteen years old. I first got into the competitive scene when I bought my first call of duty game "COD4" known as the best competitive call of duty game by most competitive gamers. I started with gamebattles as most pros have, and generally moved on to every call of duty game as they were released. I started playing professionally when MLG announced that MW2 was going to be on the circuit for PS3. Yes, I am one of many players that started out on ps3 and have since made the switch over to xbox.

How many hours during the week do you play CoD? Nowadays I don't play very much unless there is a local lan event nearby, at the most I game around two hours every day. There isn't really much to play for since call of duty isn't on the circuit, and their aren't any big events. I need an incentive to actually put in time, and effort into playing video games.

How many hours during the week do you dedicate towards reviewing gameplay and major tournaments? At the present time, not that much time. I do enjoying watching game play, but with call of duty not being on the circuit, and with my lack of intrest in another games I don't watch a lot of videos regarding any games.

How many hours during the week do you play CoD as a team? Truthfully, not that much time...close to zero. We do play GB matches from time to time, but don't take it as serious as when there is something worth playing for, like an MLG event or any big tournament involving a cash prize.

What are your latest tournament results? Other than winning a couple local lans for MW3, there isn't really any big tournaments that I can post since MW3 hasn't had much luck on the competitive side of things. Hopefully that will change with black ops 2.

What is your next online event? LAN? I'll actually be attending the PrimeTimeGamers lan this month with my teammate Bazerk. I'm looking to attend big events once Black Ops 2 is released.

Have you attended any national events? Unfortunately, no. However, I do hope that I can compete in a big event for Black Ops 2.

Are you shy around people you don't know? Eh, not really. I like meeting, and interacting with new people. Especially my fellow gamers.

If you've been sponsored before, who was your best sponsor? Why? Yes, I've actually been sponsored by vVv Gaming! I believe we represented vVv for the Socom 4 $20,000 tournament in which we placed 3rd place, winning $3,000.

Why are you no longer with them? Well it's not that we aren't with vVv Gaming anymore, but there hasn't been in opportunity for us to represent them since MW3 didn't go on the MLG circuit this year.

What was your worst sponsor? Why? I really can't add anyone to the "Worst sponsor" list because the few sponsors that have supported me have been very generous, and there isn't really anything bad I can say about them.

What do you hope to achieve as a player for vVv Gaming? I just hope I can represent this organization to the best of my ability, and hopefully accomplish many things as a vVv player.

Who do you see as your toughest competition? Anyone who doesn't have the vVv tag. I respect everyone I play, and in the call of duty scene every team is a threat.

Link to all social media sites used. https://twitter.com/Cau7eD

What does being a professional gamer mean to you? It means having the ability to enjoy a game you like while playing it at the highest level. Also, making the extra income.

How do you think you can improve as a player? As a member of the eSports community? I think being more patient would help me not only in the video game world, but in the real world. There are lots of things that I've learned throughout playing video games competitively, but one is communication. Because that's the key to making good teams!

There was no coach application, but I still wanted to give my background.

Joel, aka Regulate, and I have been working together in Call of Duty since Black Ops first came out. We founded Fly Society with the intention of creating a team of pro gamers that are not only good at the game and work well together, but bringing the level of sportsmanship and competition to a whole new level. On behalf of the team we thank you for reviewing our application for sponsorship and hope that we can once again, not only represent vVv, but be proud of the community we represent and they be proud of us.

How long have you been playing/coaching competitively?

I've been following eSports since early 2005 with Halo 2 and MLG. I got more involved with competing at events when Halo 3 released and first attended MLG Dallas in 2008.

How many hours during the week do you play CoD?

10-15 Hours

How many hours during the week do you dedicate towards reviewing gameplay and major tournaments?

With the lack of tournaments for Modern Warfare 3 it's hard to dedicate more than 3 hours a week. I do on the other hand have been working with another community (1MustFall) streaming and shoutcasting showmatches, every other Saturday, for about 2-4 hours.

How many hours during the week do you play CoD as a team?

The team plays between 5-6 hours.

What are your latest tournament results? Please provide links to brackets, threads, supporting pictures, etc.

Gameplay 2:

What is your next online event? LAN?

I hopefully will be attending the MLG Fall Championships in Dallas and competing in Halo 4, but will have full focus on Black Ops 2 when it releases.

Have you attended any national events?

I have attended 2 National MLG events with a combined 10 total MLG events. 1st event was Dallas of 2008 and last was MLG Winter Championships in Columbus of 2012.

Are you shy around people you don't know?

Not at all. I'm a very out going person and always enjoy meeting new people.

If you've been sponsored before, who was your best sponsor? Why?

vVv Gaming. Easily the best community in eSports. Not only that, but they supported us 100%. When we had big matches they were there supporting and cheering us on.

Why are you no longer with them?

I am still a community member, but the team is longer apart of vVv do to team member's personal issues.

What was your worst sponsor? Why?

N/A

What do you hope to achieve as a player/coach for vVv Gaming?

We, as a team, hope to achieve superior brand representation not just in the Call of Duty community, but in eSports in general.

Who do you see as your toughest competition?

With Black Ops 2 not released yet there is no definite answer to give. I do know that every team we play we take very seriously and look forward to getting some revenge against Optic Nation.

What does being a professional gamer mean to you?

It means a lot to me. It's not just about sponsors, trying to make money, or placing first. It's about leading a new evolution in competition and showing that being a professional gamer is more than just sitting playing video games. It's also about showing sportsmanship and showing that you can be the best all while proudly representing those that support us.

How do you think you can improve as a player/coach? As a member of the eSports community?

There is still much for me to learn about properly managing a team. I've learned a lot so far and only look to further my coaching and managing skills. Being apart of vVv will allow me to do that, get more hands on, and giving updates on the teams progress.

_________________________________________________________________________________

I have a very deep passion for this community. I love this group so much and all the support that they have given us through out the time that we were originally apart of vVv Gaming. All we talk about is how much we'd love to represent vVv Gaming again and support the growth of such a prestigious community.

How long have you been playing competitively?

I have been a competitive player since SOCOM 1 of 2003. I have continued my dream to be a Professional Player and achieved this goal in Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare of 2009.

How many hours during the week do you play CoD?

When my team was active in the earlier months of this game, I played around 35 hours a week, but slowly dropped over the course of MW3 as there was literally nothing to play for after Newegg.

How many hours during the week do you dedicate towards reviewing gameplay and major tournaments?

I spend a lot of my time reviewing previous gameplays in order to succeed in major tournaments, thus around 20 hours a week was needed on my part as I do upload gameplays and stream on my channels.

How many hours during the week do you play CoD as a team?

Currently, we are not as active as in the past, due to the lack of support of professional eSports for this game in regards to MLG or higher level LAN events. Thus, we only get on for an hour or two a day for team talks, game battles matches, and scrimmage.

What are your latest tournament results? Please provide links to brackets, threads, supporting pictures, etc.

My latest tournament results come from placing high in local LAN events and as well as traveling to a PTG LAN in California for which I placed 4th in due to us picking up a random fourth in the end. However, as a team, we placed 2nd in the Newegg online tournament as shown below:

http://wanfest.newegg.com/?page=stem_schedule&stageid=4453

http://wanfest.newegg.com/?page=stem_schedule&stageid=4454

What is your next online event? LAN?

Our next online event and LAN event will be on Black Ops 2, and undoubtedly will be where we will shine once again.

Have you attended any national events?

No, due to tough courses at University of Washington, although, it is a different story now for my path in education should be at ease when Black Ops 2 rolls around.

Are you shy around people you don't know?

Never, I love to interact and make new friends on a daily basis to the point that creates many memorable relationships that only time can end.

If you've been sponsored before, who was your best sponsor? Why?

My best and most favorite sponsor has to be vVv Gaming as they have not only given us their word on what they will finance for us, but also came along their vast and enjoyable community that supported us through tough and great times during events and online. We hope to regain such a wonderful community.

Why are you no longer with them?

MW3 hasn’t been on the MLG circuit, thus disabled us from gaining the support from organizations such as vVv Gaming. We believe that we never left vVv Gaming as we are bound to an eternal friendship between one another.

What was your worst sponsor? Why?

Without a doubt VWS was our worst sponsorship as they did not keep their word on what they were going to provide. VWS supposedly sponsored us in the early months of Black Ops, where they promised a lot, which led them to lie and lose our trust in the long run. A company that treats their members with such low respect, trust, and knowledge of the goals of a company does not deserve to participate within a growing community of eSports.

What do you hope to achieve as a player for vVv Gaming?

Nothing but success and community involvement, and we believe that this team will go into Black Ops 2 strong as we did in MW3 – defeating not only the best of the best – but also gaining respect from the community as a whole.

Who do you see as your toughest competition?

To be honest, it is hard to mention who exactly will be the toughest competition without the game out on the shelves, although I know that this team has the ability to rise once again to the top and show the community we still have what it takes to defeat the so called self-proclaimed top teams. We will not underestimate everyone and give over 100% every time, so expect no less from us.

What does being a professional gamer mean to you?

Honestly, it means the whole world to me as it gives me the ability to be a role model once again. I love to inspire people into being the best they can be in whatever they go on about in their lives. Being able to make money through gaming has not only given me a sole dedication to be number one, but also has motivated me to do good as an individual human being in order to help, grow and strengthen eSports.

How do you think you can improve as a player? As a member of the eSports community?

As a player, there many things I can improve on due to the fact that everyone is constantly learning for the better good to oneself and/or for society; thus to improve as a player I believe it is key to improve as a team through many courses of teamwork, which my team truly believes in. This will give way to be individuals of charisma, passion, dedication, and humbleness to show the eSports community that we do not strive only on beating teams, but also on teaching them a lesson.

Are you guys going to start playing together again before Black Ops 2?

We already have been, playing a couple hours a week minimum doing game battles matches and team scrimmage just to keep the team chemistry on point; including team talks that occur in-game/skype.

So glad you're applying!!! <33333 What are you plans for practice until BO2 comes out? Will you be playing Black Ops or MW3?

Thank You! More than likely we will be putting our time into MW3 for now just playing GB's and what not. Once Black Ops 2 gets closer to release date, we will be playing Black Ops. Gotta pretend Black Ops 1 is 2 for at least a week or so lmao.

How long have you been playing competitively?

I've been playing video games competitively since 2007 on the PS3 starting with just simple GB matches in Rainbow Six Vegas. When Call of Duty 4 came out I started to take competitive more serious and I actually played the whole duration of that game with my teammate CauZeD.

How many hours during the week do you play CoD?

Probably around 25-30 hours.

How many hours during the week do you dedicate towards reviewing gameplay and major tournaments?

I review gameplay maybe an hour or two a week, this is when ever I'm not playing or have free time.

How many hours during the week do you play CoD as a team?

As of now we don't play as a team as much as we would like to due to the fact that MW3 really doesn't have nothing going for it as of on the competitive side. We still team scrim and play GBs a couple of hours a week so we keep chemistry and don't get rusty.

What are your latest tournament results? Please provide links to brackets, threads, supporting pictures, etc.

http://wanfest.neweg...le&stageid=4453

http://wanfest.neweg...le&stageid=4454

What is your next online event? LAN?

My teammate CauZeD and I will be attending a PrimeTimeGamers LAN in Los Angeles. We will be doing 4v4 and 2v2.

Have you attended any national events?

No I have not attended any nationals events. I was planning to attend events for Black Ops, but unfortunately I broke my hand at the start of the MLG season and had a cast on for 3 months... :dash2:

Are you shy around people you don't know?

Not really I like to meet new people especially when it comes to meeting fellow gamers.

If you've been sponsored before, who was your best sponsor? Why?

I have not been sponsored by anyone but I will do the best of my abilities to represent any sponsor in the most professional and respectful way possible.

Why are you no longer with them?

I have not had any sponsor.

What was your worst sponsor? Why?

I can't really say who was my worst sponsor since I haven't been sponsored yet, but I can say I am really looking forward to a sponsorship and will be very grateful if a sponsorship comes our way as a team.

What do you hope to achieve as a player for vVv Gaming?

The first and foremost goal I hope to achieve as a player for vVv Gaming is of course bring many championships to the vVv Gaming community. I want to achieve all of these goals we have set as a team and as an individual in the most professional way possible and make vVv gaming a household name for every competitive gamer outhere.

Who do you see as your toughest competition?

One thing I have learned when watching many competitive sports and Esports is to never underestimate anyone you go up against. Every team you play is a threat and you have to play with the mindset that every team can beat you and you must play at the highest level at all times.

Link to all social media sites used.(Twitter/Facebook/Reddit, etc)

Do you stream? If so, link to your channel.

No, I do not stream at the moment.

Do you create written or video content? If so, link to your content.

Not as of now, but I would definitely look forward to doing so in the future.

What does being a professional gamer mean to you?

Being a professional gamer means a lot to me. Now a days video games are a real big thing and are played and viewed by thousands of people around the world. Being in the top tier of teams and players in a game as big as Call of Duty definitely means a lot and is very special, especially when you dedicate your time and effort to being a good player and always trying to improve as a player and a team. Now that E-Sports and the community as a whole is growing and becoming popular, it is definitely nice to see how big it has become and will keep becoming.

How do you think you can improve as a player? As a member of the eSports community?

As a player there is always potential for improvement, whether it be with your gunskill, timing, or communication. For me that all comes with keeping your hands on the sticks and consistantly keep playing. This goes for the team as a whole as well, the more we play the better we get, this can be by growing more chemistry which results in better communication, better timing, and therefor better gameplay as a team. Definitely interacting more with the community and staying humble. In a community such as E-Sports it's never good to have an ego and to put others aside. It's always good to interact with the community and help as much as you can, especially when players and teams are trying to get better and move up into higher competition. I mean why not help out, we were once in the same position as them.

Yes, In Mw3 we had no roster changes at all what so ever. Reason why we chose BazerK is because we know him in real life and he has past experience playing with CauZeD back in CoD4. Our team don't make roster changes at all really, BazerK is an amazing player overall, hes great at SnD, great consistant slayer on CTF, and has a playing style that is very unorthodox. We been doing great with him, we enjoy playing with one another and I can assure you we " will not " make any roster changes within a long time, maybe even for ever.

Hello Regulate, and welcome back to vVv. I have a few questions if you do not mind me asking them. I bolded some things in the above quotes as well.

You say in Modern Warfare 3 that Fly Society has had no roster changes but in the WanFest Tournament you played with a guy named xFullPure which you later revealed to be OPTION in this video -

- At 15:20-15:50 in the video you call out the scores and mention OPTION going 3-4 which was the score xFullPure had. Also in this video -
- Which was uploaded 3 weeks ago. You mentioned a Roster Change between 2:57-5:00 and said that you had picked up Pluto which was a National Champion. What happened to Pluto and what happened to OPTION? Also I believe these were Roster Changes to the Fly Society roster. Edited by vVv Shadow

Your right. The thing is Pluto was never really in the roster we were still on debate on who we were going to play with for Black Ops 2. We never played with Pluto at all, we were still just thinking on who we were going to play with. In the wanfest we played with multiple players we never had an actual 4th at all, reason why is the same thing I said before. We never got the chance to find a player that fit into our roster untill BazerK came back to CoD. We techniqually played the wanfest with about 4 players which were Option, Fullpure ( Fusions brother ), Anticity, Dizz nV. We got together and talked about it and ever since then BazerK has been playing with us. Its kinda confusing in a way, but we just never had a 4th. As you can see in multiple videos we talk about something different which is what I hate to do. Now that everything is organized we are good to go. Hopefully that answers the question.

Shadow sometimes teams play with other players in different tournaments because their 4th can't make it or they don't have one. Just because they play with somebody doesn't mean that they are on the team.

Team Captain Please Answer the Following:

What are your team’s accomplishments? With this exact roster? Links? If this exact roster has not accomplished anything, please list each player's accomplishments with supporting links.

We participated in the Newegg wanfest tournament when the game was the most active with the most competition and beat some amazing teams, such as FaZe, LvG, Gz, HeXp. After this tournament we found out that MLG was not going to add MW3 to the circuit so we stopped playing. So as of right now were just playing GB and scrimming till Black Ops 2 comes out.

What are your latest tournament results? Other than winning a couple local lans for MW3, there isn't really any big tournaments that I can post since MW3 hasn't had much luck on the competitive side of things. Hopefully that will change with black ops 2.

My latest tournament results come from placing high in local LAN events and as well as traveling to a PTG LAN in California for which I placed 4th in due to us picking up a random fourth in the end. However, as a team, we placed 2nd in the Newegg online tournament as shown below:

I see. You said you played the WanFest with multiple players but you never mentioned playing it with BazerK but you list that this Rosters latest Tournament Result was the WanFest and every member puts it as there last Tournament besides CauZed, but from what you say BazerK never played in the WanFest with Fly Society? Has this team participated in a Tournament with this exact Roster consisting of You, Fusion, CauZed, and BazerK? Has Fly Society not participated in any Tournaments since WanFest like Frag Cup 3 or any other small Online Tournament?

I understand this BuLLeT, I was just confused. I know in that video they said they had Pluto but in the other video they played with OPTION but the Gamertag was xFullPure so I just wanted to know to see what was up, because I found it weird for the video to say Pluto then not see Pluto. But its all good he clarified now! :)
