The Lissandra hit was probably because the standard build path requires building health now whether it's through Protobelt or ROA. A level 18 Liss with either one of those items plus an abyssal or zhonyas is extremely hard to kill. Yorick will be disabled for Worlds. I'm a little upset with the ashe nerfs tbh. I don't think Ashe was op in any sense but was actually just a very good pick for how the Top Lane and Jungle meta play out. Having engage from your ADC opens up more damage and split push oriented top laners and that's what is in meta right now.

    Lets try this again...

I, vVv Ballack, endorse Angry Doktor
How much time have you spent with the applicant, in-game or out?
I've known Will since 2007, we've played a ton of baseball in highschool together, including on travel teams all over the country. Besides that we play league pretty much daily.  What was your first impression of the community member? Did it change at all over time? If so, how?
Will is the kind of guy who gives his all in everything he does. It's sometimes awkward to meet someone new in highschool, but once he moved to our school, he fit in almost immediately which was quite rare. He's a competitive guy, but doesn't take things over the top. What was your favorite moment with them (in-game or out)?
Probably filming Double M Day 2009, particularly this scene where Will enters at the one minute mark.  What makes this applicant a good fit for vVv Gaming?
Will is a good person overall, heavily active with our group on league and is always looking to improve. How could they improve to be a better potential community member?
I think the most important thing is to just stay active and involved with the community. He does a good job in game but will need to continue being active here as well. Anything else we should know about this applicant? Any skills or talents that no one else knows yet?
He once dropped the middle finger when he was catching me at a national tournament we played in... which was weird because I was thinking the same thing. ESP moment. haha

I have played for a month or two with Will in League of Legends.  I have managed to play norms, Ranked Dynamic Que, and Ranked 5s with him. What was your first impression of the community member? Did it change at all over time? If so, how?
First impression of Will was that he was a competitive player that was looking to get better.  He may not have been the best player that I'd ever played with but he was willing to take criticism and work on his play to improve.   What was your favorite moment with them (in-game or out)?
Dem Lux bindings are on point   What makes this applicant a good fit for vVv Gaming?
Angry Doktor is a solid vVv applicant because of his desire to improve.  Like I've said before, he is always looking to improve his play and willing to work as a teammate to improve.  He is open to criticism and doesn't shut down when you point out what he is doing wrong.  He also works well as a team player and brings a great attitude to the table.  Overall a solid gamer and a person in general. How could they improve to be a better potential community member?
Attend the ADL when you can.  I know that you work Friday nights but make an effort to show up to the Sunday night ADL's.  Not only is it a great way to remain active in the community, but it is also a great way to learn and improve.  Its a lower pressure system and allows for you to play with and against higher elo players without the risk of losing LP.  And as always, post on the forums! Anything else we should know about this applicant? Any skills or talents that no one else knows yet?
He has a pretty solid southern accent, kappa

The matchup between the two best top laners in the world should be very interesting to watch. I wish the LCK did something similar to what the NALCS does with a side stream dedicated to one position on the map and highlighted that match-up lol

PLAYOFFS ALL AROUND!!!  So the EULCS is set up identically to the NALCS.  Again the At the end of these next few weeks we will know who will be representing regions at worlds, which is just around the corner!  I am super excited for this!   Just as a refresher the championship points for eligible teams in EU are as follows:
    G2: 90
    Fnatic: 50
    H2k: 30
    UOL: 10
    Splyce: 0
    Giants: 0
(Both OG and Team Vitality had points from the Spring split.  OG is not eligible for the promotion tournament as they were relegated in the summer split by finishing 9th.  OG drops to 0 championship points from 70.  Team Vitality's 10 points will automatically place them in 7th as the minimum gained championship points from the summer split playoffs is 20.)
These points come into play with the 2nd and 3rd seed for worlds.
    __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
How do teams qualify for Worlds?
An excellent question.  The team that wins the summer playoffs bracket takes the first seed for Europe.  So any of the 6 teams that qualified for that tournament can represent EU as the #1 seed.
The #2 seed is determined by who has the most championship points.  The team that has acquired the most points over the 2 splits will take the 2nd place seed for the region.  The points up for grabs in the summer playoffs are 90 to 2nd, 70 to 3rd, 40 4th, and 20 to 5th and 6th.  Remember that 1st is and automatic qualification and doesn't award any championship points
the #3 seed will come from the Regional tournament.  This tournament will occur after the playoffs and be a gauntlet style tournament that is seeded based on circuit points after the playoffs have finished.  The winner of that gauntlet will represent EU as the #3 seed.
    __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Cool!  So who's playing in the Summer Playoffs?
The top 6 teams from the regular season qualified.  Each match is a best of 5.  Here's the bracket:

EULCS and NALCS playoffs run along the same dates.  So the first games of the EULCS playoffs are on Satruday, August 13th.  The first week features #3 GIA vs #6 UOL and #4 H2K and #5 Fnatic.  I'm hoping that Fnatic can advance and make it again to worlds this year but both matches should be good ones.  The winners will advance to the semi-finals and face Splyce or G2.  The lower seeded winner will face G2 while the higher seeded winner will face Splyce.
    __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
What's this tournament playing this weekend then?
That is the promotion tournament.  It is where the challenger teams that made it through the Challenger series play the relegated LCS teams.  The top 3 teams from this tournament will qualify for the 2017 EULCS spring split.  Matches again are Bo5's.  Here is the bracket:

Games start this Thursday the 4th of August with #2 Challenger seeded Roccat vs #10 LCS seeded Millenium.  The loser of this game is relegated out of the LCS and their climb back will start again with the challenger scene.  The winner of that game will face Schalke (#8 LCS).  The winners of the games on August 6th will qualify for the LCS while the losers will play one more match on the 7th to try and qualify for the LCS.  Winner of the game on the 7th will qualify for LCS while the loser is relegated to the Challenger scene.

    Predictions?
While I hope that Fnatic goes far in this tournament, they haven't proven in the season that they are a top EU team.  I think if they focus while on this break they can regroup and progress through the bracket well.  They have the experience on their roster to do so but it depends on how well the buckle down and perform on stage.  G2 has also looked strong during each split so it will be interesting to see if they can manage to come out on top again.  I know they will be itching to redeem themselves on the international stage.

TSM and Immortals have been on another level all split, but TSM have wiped Immortals twice... I don't see how TSM can't win the split unless they have a colossal let down.

Freezing the wave means keeping the minion wave in a spot where you want it.  This is done by keeping the minions on both sides even (meaning there are the same number of melees and casters on each side).  You freeze the wave by making sure you don't kill the enemy minions before they kill yours.  This is best done by last hitting and not just constantly autoing the minions.  To freeze you want the same number of minions on each team in the lane.  To be pushed in you want the enemy team to have more minions than you have alive in the lane.  It is also fine as you let them push you in a little bit which opens them up for a gank from your jungle.  It is important that you do your best to keep the minions out of your tower so the wave doesn't reset, you don't lose minion gold to tower, and you don't open yourself up to a tower dive.
The sweet spot to freeze is in between mid-line and just outside of tower range on your side (I did red side, its pretty much the same for blue side, just transpose the areas to the other side of mid-line):

If you find that the enemy is freezing in their sweet spot or if you pushed the wave past mid line you should hard push to reset the wave.  When doing this you are pretty exposed to a gank and need to have vision in the river to watch for a gank from the enemy jungle/mid.  I put 3 good warding spots for gank vision in blue (those are good areas to ward in any game, both blue and red side).
This a good foundation to work with when you start wanting to develop slow pushes and stacking minion waves for dives on the enemy top laner.  Once you master freezing it is pretty easy to move forward to those concepts.

    Hope this helps!

Playing Ashe jungle may be hard at level 30, and especially in ranked.  She stylistically offers the same thing Kindred does but without the mobility and snowball potential.

As for top lane tips, really focus on your wave management.  All those champs you mentioned push lane really hard which is going to expose you to ganks.  Make sure you are using your abilities as little as possible to hit the farm and try and freeze the wave at mid line or toward your tower.  Once that freeze is broken, keep wards in the river and eyes on the mini map to spot the enemy jungle.
General rule of thumb for the first 3-4 mins in top lane:
Try to reason out where the jungle started
If they start bot then expect them top around 2:30-3:30, depending on clear times.  Ward river at ~2:45 (2:30 if the jungle has a fast clear).
If they start top then ward at 1:40.  Spot if the Jungle is gonna quick gank or go and continue to farm.
    Hope this helps!
