  4. Well we managed to win it but 70+ min games are exhausting..... Full match detail if you want them: http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2303172194/36927312?tab=overview Rift on!
  5. I can't wait for worlds to start! I'm a little sad I start work on the 3rd but I should be able to keep up with the action pretty well. It will be interesting to see how each of the regions step up in international play. I love watching how each meta and regional strategies effect the outcomes of the events. Hype!
  6. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that you are able to keep on growing in your personal endeavors and utilize what you have learned from your multiple roles in vVv to find happiness in life. I'm glad to have gotten to meet you!
  7. Welcome! What do you run in hearthstone. I'm trying out a secret mage but its kinda struggling. I might have to revert back to my hunter deck.
  8. Hows it going? I haven't seen you on discord or on the forums in awhile and wanted to check in with you. Make sure you are making an effort to engage with other members and helping us get to know you. That's how we are able to give you endorsements. A great way to do this is to participate in the ADL on Fridays and Sundays. Hope to see you on discord soon!
  9. My predictions for each group: Group A: ROX first, G2 Second This group has a very obvious first place team. ROX has looked very strong this split and I don't see them struggling to secure the first place seed out of Group A. The 2nd place spot is up for grabs though. I could see both CLG and G2 clinching that spot, and honestly I know nothing about the IWC teams (#darkhorse). For now, since CLG has struggled in the past few series and G2 has looked strong, I'll give the spot to G2. ___________________________________________________________________ Group B: SKT T1 first, Flashwolves second This group is sort of the group of death in my opinion. All the teams that made it into this group have been strong this past split. SKT T1 was among the top teams in Korea, Flash wolves won the LMS, C9 made it to the NA finals and fought their way through the gauntlet, and IMay has been constant in the LPL. I honestly could see most of these teams doing well (maybe not IMay) in the bracket. Based on the their play and regions though, I give the predictions that I give. ___________________________________________________________________ Group C: EDG first, AHQ second I don't really have much to say about this group. I think that the top two teams are at a much higher caliber than the bottom two teams. ___________________________________________________________________ Group D: Royal first, TSM second This group is tough to call for me. I think that Royal is very much the front runner seeing that the competed well and managed to get the 2nd place seed in a very competitive region. The 2nd place seed is harder to call. TSM has been playing very well over the past split and playoffs, however you never know which TSM will show up. If they want to live up to the hype that they've created they are going to have to be on point to get enough wins to break groups. Samsung and Splyce are not easy opponents and will be a test for TSM. For now, I have hope and put TSM in 2nd.
  10. Full Riot Post here inculding a video of the group draw: http://www.lolesports.com/en_US/articles/group-draw-show-results ___________________________________________________________________ Well the results are in! Groups have been drawn for the 2016 Worlds Tournament. Here are the groups: Group A: Rox Tigers (LCK) G2 Esports (EU LCS) Counter Logic Gaming (NA LCS) Albus Nox Luna (CIS) Group B: Flash Wolves (LMS) SK Telecom T1 (LCK) Team I May (LPL) Cloud9 (NA LCS) Group C: Edward Gaming (LPL) AHQ e-Sports Club (LMS) H2k Gaming (EU LCS) INTZ e-Sports (CBLoL) Group D: TSM (NA LCS) Royal Never Give Up (LPL) Samsung Galaxy (LCK) Splyce (EU LCS) ___________________________________________________________________ So what do you all think of these groups?
  11. Dat proto belt into ult got me, I was done after that #norecovery XD
  12. The Gnar and Shen nurfs are for competitive play for sure. Those champs were fairly over tuned for the regional qualifiers and playoffs. In the qualifiers Shen and Gnar were pretty heavily favored across all regions. I know LCK, EU, LMS, LPL, and NA all favored those champs and had them upwards of 60 - 70% pick or ban rate. NA had a 100% pick/ban rate on gnar in the gauntlet and LPL had a 100% pick/ban on Gnar as well as a 94% (16 out of 17 games) pick/ban on Shen in their gauntlet. But it's hard to see if they had been re adjusted on the following patches. I believe that the regional tournaments were on patch 6.15 and now we are on 6.18. Making nurfs based on competitive play that isn't the current patch can lead to some problems. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
  13. Link to the official patch notes: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/patch/patch-618-notes Wow, Riot really laid down the Nurf hammer for this patch. It seems that there are a lot of tune-downs rather than buffs. I am a little surprised by a few of them. I don't really understand why Lissandra needed to have her health growth stat reduced. I never really saw her health as an issue in her kit and it seems like an unnecessary tune to me. Maybe it had to do with competitive play in a region that I don't frequent so if anyone has any idea about that one, let me know. It seems with this patch that they are trying to fall away from a tankier meta and toward a more damage based meta. It will be interesting to see how the new Yorick rework works with this patch. Sadly he made it into the worlds patch which makes it difficult for the professional teams to adapt, but it should make for some very interesting play come worlds! What do you all think? Any buffs/nerfs catch your eye? Any ideas on what will be broken this patch?
