  1. Never miss one cs to shoot one auto. Always try to maximize your efficiency and poke when you won't miss CS. However, if you're confident you can TRADE and WIN that trade HEAVILY, feel free to miss 2-3 cs at a time, if you can like 100% - 30% their AD and you miss 2-3CS it is well worth it because you can zone the shit out of them throughout the whole lane. Supports just need to maintain vision of key choke points, the bush above/under red buff should always be warded to keep vision on the wrath ramp so that your bot lane doesn't get completely steam rolled by a tri-bush gank. As an AD main I want my supports to go assist the team so they're not out-numbered while I find opportunities to free farm. Group with the team and rely on your AD to farm their way up after laning phase.
  2. You either want to play a high range, safe lane such as Cait/Zyra, Cait/Sona, Cait/Nami. Caitlyn is a great pick into Fiddle because if you maintain your range you will not be feared. Support-wise, if you don't want to play the babysitting lane, Leona is your best bet, and Blitz if you are confident. Thresh is meh because he takes a bit to get his full combo and will get feared mid-combo, blitz's hook/knock-up is instant so you can burst/kill Fiddle pretty quickly. I prefer running Cait/Sona into him though because you can heal the poke and out trade.
  3. http://oce.leagueoflegends.com/node/7445# I'm personally going to buy: Striker Ezreal Whistler Village Twitch Ice Toboggan Corki Def. Not Blitzcrank and maybe Red Card Katarina, not sure.
  4. By far the worst would be Silver V. There are SO MANY people that got lucky in their placements, placed somewhere in Silver, and have lost every game from there on out. I know so many people that deserve to be in Bronze V that are in Silver V but cannot be demoted from that. Between the two options you gave me, I'd say Diamond V. In Bronze there is at least somewhat of an idea of improvement. People who hit Diamond V think they're almighty Gods and that they're the best, when in reality I personally don't think Diamond V is any different from Gold I - Plat I. I've met so many trolls in Diamond V that just screw off because they consider themselves the best of the best.
  5. Basically, a LOT of people go into their Bo5 and went 2-0 in their series. So now they're going to sit on their 2-0 until the last week of the season to finish their series and hopefully win their way into Challenger. As a stipulation, you have a 1 week safety period when you get into Challenger. This means that at the very last minute they're going to throw someone out of Challenger and lock their spot in indefinitely so when the season ends they're guaranteed to finish Challenger. I really think they should limit the amount of time you can sit in a series, maybe to a few days. Make it so that you HAVE to play at least ONE series game every 2-3 days so that you're not afk'ing in the series for 1-2 weeks at a time.
  6. I'm currently Diamond I, in-game name is Nut. I main AD/Support but I can give advice on more or less any aspect of the game! Please feel free to ask whatever you may be wanting to know. I used to be an official coach at e-Sports University so I have experience with this sort of thing as well!
  7. My IGN is Nut, please add me to the list. My application to vVv is being processed at the moment too.
  8. Name: Shane Age: 19 Location: Ohio Summoner Name: Nut What is your current division in Ranked?: Diamond I, ex-Challenger Have you ever been banned in-game? If so, why?: Yes, apparently I "falsely" purchased RP, which I didn't, and it got me perma-banned. What is your favorite champion and role? Why?: AD/Support - Vayne/Cait because they're strong hyper-carries - Thresh/Zyra because they can outplay so hard. How did you hear about vVv Gaming? Were you referred to the site? If so, by whom?: When I played competitive Counter-Strike the name was moderately large so I decided to come back to see if you had a League division. Who do you currently know in vVv Gaming? How do you know them?: Nobody. Why are you interested in joining vVv Gaming?: Something to do, hopefully give advice to newer/lower-tier players, join a high level team if you get enough D1's to form one. What are your hobbies and interests outside of gaming?: Football, Ohio State, Texting, Facebook, Girlfriend, Lifting Do you have competitive tournament experience?: Ever since I was 12 years old I've been playing competitive e-Sports from CS, to WoW, H3, to COD4, to League of Legends. I placed top 17 in MLG Columbus 09' and now I focus solely on League of Legends for competitive play. I've placed 1st/2nd in multiple Go4LoL's and Z33k's and I recently got accepted into a top 4 Challenger team but I couldn't join because they needed me to fly to LA. I have managed a team and got them sponsored by Steelseries so I have a lot of experience on the business side, and the competitive side of e-Sports. Have you attended any national events?: Only LAN I've attended is MLG Columbus, I almost made it to the ESEA-I LAN Finals in Texas but I couldn't afford it at the time. What do you hope to achieve, competitively?: Fame, success, and women. If there is a competitive League of Legends roster for vVv that has all Diamond I/Challenger players and plays actively and is dedicated I would love to join.
