I want say thank you. I want to take a brief moment to celebrate the success and contributions of 3 vVv members who took the toughest job.  Thank you to:
Jordan "Doomhammer" Kahn Robert "RobZ" Thompson Greg "Sugarbear" Milliken In the 3 years I have gone, all 3 have lead this great organization. Without them, there would not be a vVv Gaming today. Each one added their own particular style and focus to vVv Gaming.

Jordan has gone on to be a Live Producer at RIot Games, Robert Thompson has gone on to be a Recruiter at Riot Games, but is thankfully still heavily involved with vVv Gaming. Greg is staying right here and going to be our new "Application Experience Manager."

For those of you who have never lead, it is hard. You can never truly ever feel you got it right. When I think of leading, a quote by Theodore Roosevelt, a quote that used to sit on my desk when I was in the US Navy, often comes to mind.    This is my way of saying thank you:

These 3 men have all stepped into the arena. For that, I will always be grateful.  With my upcoming return to vVv, you've all seen some changes start to happen.  You will see more to follow.

Yea, this discussion should end. If Smite doesn't want themes at first, so let it be. Viva has seen the success and the way it added to LoL ADL experience, so I understand his passion. If the Smite community does not want them, then we won't.

Maybe after a few of these, the staff will be open to trying it,. and seeing the response to see if will add value to the Smite ADL the way it did for the LoL ADL.

vVv LordJerith reacted to KJP831 in vVv vs. SKDC | CEVO | Post-Game Analysis
    Intro

For anyone reading this I am not the coach of vVv and these thoughts and critiques are my own opinion. I usually only note the negative ideas and plays because that is harder for the average team to see in themselves.

    Cache

    CT Side

Not reading the Ts. 1x2x2. After a few rounds of the B players pushing up and knowing that no one plays B as well as a high focus on A from SKDC, vVv should figure this out and start countering this.
No real counter strats. Whenever SKDC tries to take a site the defending CTs rarely throw any counter nades to slow the Ts down and allow the other CTs to rotate.
No idea what SKDC likes to do on T side. From what I can tell there was no demo watching of how SKDC plays Cache or how they play overall. Even though they have two stand ins doesn’t mean their shot caller will call completely different strats.

    T Side

Very slow fake. In the early rounds vVv fakes bombsite A and rotates to B. After getting a kill Mid and showing the bomb they need to then reset and read the CTs positions once again. I am not 100% sure on the time they had left so they might of had no choice but to run to B and hope SKDC was slow on their rotations.
Slow on trading kills. In xv1 after plant situations vVv is very cautious to trade the kill on the remaining player to win the round. Instead they bait each other (sometimes not always) and this often loses them the round.
Bad use of nades while holding the retake.  In one of the final rounds They have 2 molotovs and know where most of the remaining CTs are. Also knowing that they are on an eco they should use all their nades to slow SKDC down and secure the round win. Instead they die with nades and lose the round to an eco.

vVv LordJerith got a reaction from vVv Brock in The Review that has made me decide to give ESO a chance
    So, I watched this review:

It really got me interested in the game, which has clearly gone through a lot of changes since the beta I so disliked.  Jordan, Nick, and I have decided after looking at a lot of MMO options (WoW, FFXIV, etc) to give this a chance. The above review really sold us.

Right now, the best way to purchase the game is to go to Green Man Gaming and sign in. Then, click on the green VIP section, and scroll down and you should see the standard version for $46.79 (you can upgrade the version using the in-game store to the imperial edition).

I do recommend once purchasing the standard game using the above link to upgrade to Imperial Edition  and purchasing the starter pack (both in the in-game store), but those are not required. Just good to
Get the mount early, as they are pricey and need to be leveled (time and gold) Have the option to play any race in any faction. I like the fact there is
no subscription (optional, but only minor cosmetic advantages) real moral choices completely voice-acted players reporting they actually care about questing, and questing actually effects story line tense, objective base PvP So, we're diving in. We have created a Mumble channel. There is only one North American megaserver, so no need to choose a server.
vVv will play on the PC, and we chose the faction
Daggerfall Covenant (this is the far left faction with Breton, Orcs and Redguards).
We chose this faction because the ESO community is looking for good guilds to help build this faction. Seems like a good place for vVv to play to avoid being in a zerg, and having no que times.

vVv LordJerith reacted to Ludacrix in Do SMITE's Goddesses Show Too Much Skin?
From what I've seen of actual historical references to the depiction of Greek and Roman goddesses, most of them are borderline (if not completely) naked. Now, that does not necessarily mean that we should have the same level of sexism and patriarchal influence in art today as it may have been in historical societies. I do notice that many male gods are also depicted as naked in history, I honestly wouldn't mind it if HiRez chose to "sex-up" the male characters along with female characters if its appropriate to their lore.

I really like the dsicussion. And I feel like there has been a lot of opinions shared.  cadu, let me see if I understanding what you're saying:

best way to practice are Conquest Pre-Made with someone experienced spectating the game so at the end we still get feedback in-houses are a way to scrim against other established teams You want the honor we gain to appear naturally as I side effect for playing Pre-mades, ranked, etc... because if you see things properly, each time you win a premade, clan gets 150 honor (30 per party member) Sounds like those are three things that we should do, yes?

ESO 25 Tips for Beginning Adventurers
(Things I wish knew before I made a character)

     source: http://www.tentonhammer.com/teso/guides/25-tips-beginning-adventurers

    1. Always enchant your weapon if you can, it adds extra damage and usually adds the ability to cause condition effects. This can make even store bought weapons rather powerful.

    2. Everything in the game is phased, especially quest objectives. So don’t fret if someone is running at your quest objective, 80% of the time the one that you see has spawned just for you. As a note, some are not that special, and are lootable by anyone.

    3. Quests progression is organic, moving from one area of the map to the next. There is very little in the way of breadcrumbs to take you from point a to point b, so you’ll need to explore in order to find all of the quests in a zone.

    4. Press H to summon your horse.

    5. There are no mailboxes, mail is accessible with the “,” key or through the mail tab in your UI (default ALT key).

    6. Some quests may require a group, especially with enemies that can regenerate.

    7. Everyone can heal and tank, although some classes have more class abilities attuned to the specialty.

    8. Everyone can equip any weapon and any armor, assuming they have the level to do so. No specific class has their own personal “weapon skill line.”

    9. Stamina is used for sprinting, but also for abilities. Keep that in mind as you’re running across the world.

    10. PvP is accessible starting at level 10.

    11. Always upgrade your gear, you may not think it makes a difference, but it does.

    12. Skills can be morphed. After you use them enough and they level up, you can morph them to have additional damage, range, effects, and more. It all costs one skill point.

    13. Skill points aren’t just obtained from leveling. You can obtain skill points from quests, PvP, and skyshards.

    14. You can belong to all of the guilds, so don’t fret in accepting anyone’s specific quest.

    15. Passive skills are great investments once you’re rather happy with your active skill list.

    16. Mix skills that use stamina and magicka. That way when you’re out of stamina or magicka, you can still use skills for additional damage.

    17. Don’t forget to feed your horse! Horses level up by feeding them, which in turn improves their stats.

    18. At each level you get to assign stat points, it doesn’t matter realistically where you put them, everyone needs more health, stamina, and magicka.
    19. Classes aren't nearly as important as a race in a specific role. For instance, Imperials make great tanks. They get a ton of passive Stamina boosts plus One-Hand and Shield bonus experience. It doesn’t mean that you’ll be behind if you pick one race over another based on aesthetics instead of skills, but if you’re a min/maxer you may want to look over racial abilities.

    20. Press T to switch active quests, which display in the upper right.

    21. Red text in a quest means that the choice will have a lasting impact (i.e. a story branch: save one village or the other).

    22. Various drinks have long lasting (30 minute+) effects to increase health, stamina, magicka, resource regeneration, etc.

    23. Anyone can craft anything, you don’t have to learn specific tradeskills.

    24. To talk in group press /g, to talk in guild press /g1.

    25. Be sure to look at conversation options, sometimes NPCs will tell you something you never knew or the conversation could branch off in an entirely different path. (2nd time I made my sorcerer, and actually read the conversations, I didn't notice that it changed the quest paths and objectives)

    The Basics
You can join Cyrodiil once you hit level 10; base attributes will be adjusted to the same values for all players unless you’re level 50, making it possible to compete even against higher level players. By participating in alliance warfare you gain gold, experience, gear, and Alliance Points. If you want your shot at the exclusive Emperor skill line, this is the only way to get it!
All new players joining a campaign to the Cyrodiil warfront are provided with detailed instructions about how to participate in the war effort, courtesy of their alliance. You can speak with the following NPCs to initiate the Alliance War tutorials which will quickly walk you through the important basics of Cyrodiil and the Alliance War:
Aldmeri: Arcarin at the Eastern Elsweyr Gate Daggerfall: Veronard Liancourt at the Southern High Rock Gate Ebonheart: Olvyia Indaram at the Northern Morrowind Gate

    Keeps
Each faction has 6 keeps Each Keep has the following: 2 control flags, NPC defenders, outer and inner wall walls are destroyed by sieges and player damage keeps have a gatehouse door and sanctuary door, they only are damaged by sieges, mostly by rams When a keep is captured, the walls and doors stay the same unless you obtain repair kits to fix them give bonuses to the alliance outside and inside of Cyrodiil IMPORTANT: Keeps are like a transit network, to use the portal and move around it has to have a flowing network (the lines between keeps)

    Map Resources
Farms control the strength of the guards at a keep  nearby Mines control the strength of walls Lumber mills control the strength of the doors in a keep resources will upgrade over time Types of Siege Weapons
There are many type of siege weapons you use to help capture the keeps or hit many players at once with. Trebuchet and the Ballistae are long range and catapults are used for short range. (All AOE Damage)
Trebucets, used against structures Ballistae, used against enemy siege engines Catapults, used against troops Leaderboards
they track how many points you earn in that campaign (30 day, 14 day, 7 day, non-veteran are the lengths of the game) Update every 10minutes filter the boards by class, overall, or alliance

    How To Earn Alliance Points
killing players capturing keeps defending keeps Alliance war missions earning points allows you to also increase your skills lines for Assault or Support Every alliance rank will give you a skill point Alliance War Skill Lines
Assault: abilities cost stamina for attacking enemies and keeps Support: abilities cost magicka and focus for defending enemies and keeps
    Other Content in Cyrodill
repeatable quests are found on the map skyshards all over the map lorebooks are on the map 18 caves to explore all pvp zones Quick Notes From KillShift
Once you enter into the campaign, look for the group or the keep being attacked find the altar that lets you teleport to keeps look at general shout and find the group and join it The alliance has a personal teamspeak for communication if you want to join it on your off time look for skyshards Abilities have a longer range and your character stats scale alot but lvl 50s will crush with lvl 50 weapons and enchants Stealth and Healing is great for gaining points and experiencing the campaign to get a feel for it
