I'm really an active person, I like to work out, sports, live a healthy life. I've been into games as long as I can remember, always in a competitive way.
If you want to know more about me, just ask! That's the best about me, I love meeting new people.
  1. I would humbly ask for two of my eternal favourite skins. Frostblade Irelia, you know, cuz she's op and stuff, and Debonair Jayce, cuz he looks like me.
  2. Welp, someone's addicted. Haha! Glad to see everyone is doing so well and there's still so much activity here. Just passing by, and saying hi.
  3. I also have 2 smurfs. I Am Barcode and Best Ezreal NA
  4. I do Agree with Engel, GSL is a Tournament with it's own tradition, rankings and qualifying system. WCS is the World Cup, keeping on with the soccer analogies, which brings the best individual representatives from separate regions (It's actually quite hard to relate a team game with an individual one.) So by doing this, they're basically saying, okay, doesn't matter if you're the best, if you're not ranked in GSL (Or if your team doesn't win the national cup) you can't play. Which kills any possibility for newer Korean players to get any shot at it until they've competed and succeded in this Challenger Series, which I guess are going to be even more brutal than the actual GSL or WCS. Putting it completely in soccer terms, it's like instead of making a national team with the best players, you just send the team that wins the cup, and disregard all other players. Some of the greatest players have risen as unknowns, without any previous team support or ranking. Flash, Stephano, xellOs, among many others.. I completely agree with Engel, WCS qualifiers are WCS qualifiers, and GSL is GSL. Leave them as they are.
  5. Here's a cool idea you could use, from bigger aspects to smaller ones. Start using a point system too keep track of your progress Every single game in the world is broken down into three key aspects: Game Knowledge, Mechanics, and Information. So in each of those pick 3-4 particular aspects you want to improve, and start pointing yourself based on them. (+1 For complete Success, 0 For even, -1 For failure) An example would look like this: Mechanics - Maintained a Higher CS (Or more effective build) than my opposing role -> +1 - In team fights, my positioning was good, but I failed to focus the target I needed to help my team -> 0 - I failed to utilize my activatable items effectively -> -1 Overall Mechanics = 0. Game Knowledge - I itemized and played my role according to my team's needs -> +1 - My champion pick worked with team synergy, I got counter picked, but my laning phase was good. -> +1 - I employed the correct counter mechanics against their team comp. -> +1 Overall Game knowledge : +3 Information - I employed good ward placing to spot for their jungler and saved myself from getting ganked 2 times. -> +1 - I was constantly watching my minimap to position properly for fights -> +1 - I did not check their itemization and took fights that I couldn't win -> -1 Overall Information: 1 Then you take a weekly score, if it's positive, you have improved, if it's negative, you have to review your success or failure and try to improve. That could help a lot because I see you're very good at identifying mistakes. Well that adds up for my grain of sand. GL HF!
  6. Toss OP. Rofl that's what makes SC2 so amazing man, the plays..
  7. I, vVv Razor, am more than glad to endorse dx1tuyen. How much time have you spent with the applicant, in-game or out? We've practiced a lot, and I'm always talking to him ever since he joined vVv. What was your first impression of the community member? Did it change at all over time? If so, how? First time I ever saw him, he was offering to help people out to improve overall in LoL, I added him and he immediately offered to help me out. What was your favorite moment with them (in-game or out)? Everytime I get to practice with him in game, it makes me really happy, he helps me pinpoint my mistakes and has made me improve a lot, outside of games we've shared some personal stories, and he's helped me out with a difficult part of my life. What makes this applicant a good fit for vVv Gaming? He's active, he's passionate, he's always willing to give a hand out to people that need it, he's a very nice person overall, I feel he's not only a great addition to vVv Gaming, but an great addition to the LoL community as well. How could they improve to be a better potential community member? More activity in the forums, other than that I'll always run into him on mumble and shoutbox. Anything else we should know about this applicant? Any skills or talents that no one else knows yet? Lawrence is great at identifying specific situations in LoL and has great judgement to act on them, he's definitely someone I'd recommend as a coach, or a practice partner. Do you feel that they know and understand the five pillars of vVv Gaming? What about the Summoner's Code? I'm perfectly aware that he knows and abides by the summoner code, and his attitude is that of a vVv role model, strictly guided by the pillars, I'd definitely recommend him to everyone. Other than that, without anything else to add, my best wishes to Lawrence, I know he'll make an awesome community member!
  8. When I see a lux support I just go shen to annoy the hell out of them.

    Sailox The Hopeful

I, vVv Razor, endorse Sailox!. How much time have you spent with the applicant, in-game or out? Around 3 weeks, he's been playing a lot of League with me and Fluffy, he also seems to always be on, haha. What was your first impression of the community member? Did it change at all over time? If so, how? He came off like a pretentious prick at first, naw just kidding, he's super good willed, it's always awesome to hang around with him because he'll always get a laugh out of you. What was your favorite moment with them (in-game or out)? We were playing arranged 5's with Fluffy and Sailox, we got into a team fight and eventually it was us 3 left, we started taking down people left and right, then there were 2 people left that we chased, I (ADC) was a bit behind on kills, so I wanted these to finish one of my end games. So we start chasing people down, I'm ready to focus down their adc, and then fluffy takes the kill. I go "Seriously fluff? I called it. Nvm I'll get the other one". We kept chasing the tank until I could focus her, then Sailox (Support) decides to use a Sona poke and steal it from me, I was so pissed but we had such a hard laugh with that. I think that's the best moment we've had. What makes this applicant a good fit for vVv Gaming? Sailox is a guy that's always there when you need it, he's down to talk, he's always there if we need a substitute for Aspire Ascend, and he's always asking me for games, he gets around people very well, and he just won't stop making me laugh and stealing my kills xD How could they improve to be a better potential community member? Besides posting around in the forums a bit more, I think regarding the mumble and in game requirements Sailox is doing an amazing job. Keep it up! Anything else we should know about this applicant? Any skills or talents that no one else knows yet? Sailox really likes LoL and I feel he has a lot of dedication, I would appreciate if he could be added to the aspire program as a fixed member instead of a sub. Do you feel that they know and understand the five pillars of vVv Gaming? What about the Summoner's Code? I fully do, I even went over them with him myself, he's a really respectful player, he always abides by the summoner code, I can say that he's one of the people I enjoy playing with the most. Best of luck to you dude!
  10. You're wrong, that is not blue steel! That is Ferrari!
  11. I think there's a way to make it very general. I.E: -Long Range ADC's will take the most advantage from supports that can either help them chase or prevent the enemy from getting to close range, which is why Nami and Nunu are really good choices to take with carries like Ashe and Caitlyn, because these are very squishy and they can shield and/or help them stay at long range. -Taric is best used with channeling ult ADC's because the amount of pressure he can exert in lane will force most ADCs out of position if support is not positioned properly, and then proceed to weaken/stun them while the ult hits them. This is why Taric is very good with Draven/Ezreal/Miss Fortune. Champions are not countered by champions, they're countered by items, resistances, and mechanics. Which is why we can focus on the mechanics and then understand what champions fit the best with the mechanics we need. Most people will just grab someone because they "counter" the other guy's champion, but won't understand how to properly abuse the mechanics needed for that counter pick to be effective. *Idea for a blog post coming up*

    Sailox The Hopeful

Welcome! I see that you have very clear goals, and that's awesome! There's a lot of threads around there that are putting together a community team, perhaps you can check them out. If not, I'm always down for some games. I'm a pretty decent adc, so I could help you out if you want. ^^ Anyways, welcome! And I hope you enjoy your stay, everyone in the community is more than willing to answer questions and help out, so don't be afraid to reach out to them.
