  6. I really enjoy the pro gamer tips series of articles. I also like the interviews of vVv competitors. Doing more interviews would be a wonderful idea. I am very passionate about running gaming events. This past 1v1 tourney that we did I lost my first 2 games, but I had a ball unofficially trouble shooting behind the scenes. I think I actually have more fun when I am running or helping to run events then I do playing in them. I enjoy bringing joy to others more then to myself by competing.

I know I still haven't even had my application to the community go through till the end yet, but I have become inspired by Jerry rants and the great people in the community to try and make a difference any way that I can. The only current staff position that I feel I am qualified for is the Associate Editor position. I feel that I have good communication skills and would be able to work directly with any of the other editors, staff, and writers to make sure the best articles are posted on the vVv site. I don't have the writing skills required for the other positions, but I feel I can edit others work and make suggestions for improvement. Now it is time for a little bit about me. I am a twenty-one year old male ,soon to be twenty-two, who is currently taking some time off from college due to health complications. I was working towards a dual major in computer and electrical engineering before the break. Fall of this year is my target for going back to Penn State. My major though is now up in the air again. I may decide to go back to computer programming with a minor in video game design. I enjoy running or helping run gaming events when given the opportunity. I was the number two in command for cssdraft years ago, and it was very successful while it lasted. I have a beautiful girlfriend in my life who is a member of the vVv community, vixen22. I spend time with Vixen as well as play a variety of games on the computer in my down time and during the spring and summer I race sailboats. I am currently working as an overnight freight employee at Kohl's department store, where I have been employed for eighteen months. I have also worked as co-youth director at my church and try to be very active in my church. I have been a volunteer at my church's food pantry since it started over 5 years ago. I have only missed a dozen or so weeks due to conflicts and health.   14. This was fun. I have a few criticisms though. These are not meant to insult anyone and I am sorry if they are taken that way. The tournament didnt start off good at all. A lot of people signed up and then didn't show up. This caused a lot of double ffs in the first round and also in the losers bracket. Also the single ff that were caused by this took a while to sort out. I would like to throw my name out there as someone who is willing to help run the next event and not play in it in order to do so. I had fun playing, but I enjoy helping more. I was the number 2 to Carl for cssdraft for 6 months a few years ago for anyone that was around playing source then, so I have experience. All in all a good even, just needs tweaked a lil for next time.
