Spike got a reaction from Ahryse in Some thoughts about the state of ADL.
I read the main post, not the replies simply because I don't have the time, so sorry if I'm saying the same thing:

    Toxicity
This should never be a problem.  If you are dealing with a "toxic" player, tell them, it's truly as simple as that.  Typically telling someone "stop being an asshole" should be enough.  In the VERY rare case where they continue being assholes, bring it to Sundown.  There should not be cases where you don't like playing because someone is a jerk.  I know personally I screw around with my team a lot saying Lif should be Bronze 6, but I believe everyone always knows I'm never serious, and if someone takes offense, I expect them to tell me directly.  Don't hide who is being toxic then complain about it (in general, not targeted at you, Stouty).  Just fix it or let an administrator of the ADL know (Sundown, Nightbane, etc.)

    Skill Gap
I know most people here are new.  They probably haven't been around as long as some of us (Me JayC, Vultige, Quasi, etc.).  I began playing with vVv from level 1 about 3 years ago, then I came from Starcraft and didn't know anything about LoL or MOBAs in general (never played DotA, HoN).  I literally thought Vayne was Twitch and Twitch was Brand.  Anyways, I got shit on ... a lot ... A ton, actually. The point of those inhouses (which is now the ADL) is learning.  You will not get better at the game if you continue playing at the same level.  It's sad, but honestly, it's true.  Improvement happens MUCH quicker if you play against people 10x better than you, get destoryed, and learn why you got destroyed.  By making a "second bracket", you are simply making the improvement process slow down.  Feedback at the end of EVERY game is there for a reason, and if lower skilled people don't take it seriously and really learn from it, it is their fault.  At the end of every game, I expect people who got beat by someone much higher in ranked then them ask questions.  Did you overextend too much?  Did you play too passive early against a Ryze pre 6?

By making a second bracket of people that are (lets say) lower than gold, you are simply disallowing them the chance to get REAL advice from someone who actually knows what they're doing, not someone who thinks they do.

The goals of ADL (from what I've taken) are:
    1.  Play in a competitive environment
    2.  Learn

I know I'm not Bronze-Silver (yet) but if anyone really doesn't like playing against higher skilled players because they don't think they are learning anything, not having fun, or not getting that "competitive enviorment" field ...... well, you're doing it wrong.

I agree, but then again, has a roster change made by Regi ever been bad?

    My personal opinion, but
Dyrus > whoever he replaced (I think Rainman?)
Wildturtle > Chaox (my opinion .. but I REALLY think so)
    Berg > Regi (Deff)

Then again, I always thought Xpecial was the best support in NA by far.

Never played Wildstar so I don't know specifically what may be going wrong.  By the information you gave:
It's not your Internet and anything do with the Internet (Firewalls, Bandwidth, Connection, etc.) You do have Windows 8, which is terrible.  If I had to guess it's something to do with this
After some googling, people who are running Windows 8, 64 bit are crashing similarly how you are.  They are getting an error 6395 or  6582  windows appilcation error.  IT looks like the game simply isn't yet for Windows 8 (x64).

Here's what you can try, though:
Within the Wildstar folder, you should see multiple applications to launch the game.  If there is a launcher (similar to LoL) try to find the application to completely bypass this (So in LoL, you wouldn't open the launcher, you would automatically open the login screen) Make sure you are running it as Admin
    Did some more Googling ...

Seems like a shit ton of people are having this problem if they are running Windows 8.  It seems like it is an application side problem so if the two steps don't work above, you may just have to wait for an update to come out or play on a different computer.

The moral of this story is -- Windows 8 is shit.

    Hey, Marcus:

When you are creating a new topic, make sure you are adding value to each and every one.  Making a topic just to ask a question that has been answered elsewhere is probably not the best thing to do, as it creates spam.

If you are asking how long your application process may take, you need to read through the application post that you filled out more in detail.

This is what I want you to do, Read these links as they are crucial to join vVv and remain in vVv:

Spike got a reaction from Fenixsniper in Fixing LoL Client/Game Issues
So I enjoy reading the Help and Support section of the LoL forums and oh my god there are hilarious people complaining, it also gave me the idea to make a thread that will fix issues with your League client that may take weeks for Riot support to help you with.

Before I begin, here are a couple things to remember:
If Riot hasn't reported a problem on their Server Status forum, 99.9% of time time it is YOUR side, not the server. If I didn't cover something and you have a problem with your client or game, leave a reply and I will update this thread with the problem and solution.
    #1 - I have high ping when I shouldn't
When playing League of Legends, you are constantly transmitting data to the Riot Servers in California (I believe).  If you play directly on top of the servers, you have MUCH lower ping than someone playing in Maine.  This means, if you are playing on the NA servers from Europe, there is nothing you can do to make your ping the same as someone that is on the west coast, but you can take steps to reduce the latency as much as possible.
Use WTFast.  WTFast is optimal for people that live outside on the East Coast or outside of the U.S. Stop all running processes that are taking up bandwidth.  This can include your Internet Browser, other games, or anti-virus solutions. Ensure you have exceptions for the League of Legends client on Firewalls Change to a public DNS, such as Google. Do not use Wifi, hard wire yourself into your router.  If this isn't possible, then make sure you have a high speed internet card and and good connection to your router. #2 - I can't press "Play".  The server says *Undefined" or "Offline" when it really isn't.
This could be a problem with your Internet connection or the client itself.
When on the Launcher, the screen you press "Play" to log in to your account, maximize the Launcher and type "thereisnourflevel" anywhere on the screen.  This is not a permanent fix, but will allow you to get to the log in server regardless if it is online or offline. Turn off all firewalls and anti-virus solutions (you can add exceptions later) Port Forward the address.  You find a guide on how to do this here. #3 - I can get to the login screen, but I can't log on (Multiple connection Attempts then failed).
Turn off all firewalls and anti-virus solutions (you can add exceptions later) Port Forward the address.  You find a guide on how to do this here. Try connecting to a different server (Instead of NA, connect to EUW or OCE).  I had a problem a few days ago where I couldn't connect to the NA servers ONLY.  After a few hours I came to the conclusion that my school or the ISP blocked the address to the logon servers due to the high traffic (about 200 people were all patching at the same time).  It fixed itself the next day.  If you aren't like me and pay for your own Internet, you may need to call your ISP to make sure they didn't flag the address (they shouldn't be), or go into your router configuration and make sure "http://prod.na1.lol.riotgames.com" isn't being blocked for any reason #4 - After Champion Select, I can't load into the game.  I get an error about a firewall.
The error shown is wrong.  This problem has been occurring with multiple ISPs (including my own) where the DNS doesn't like the address you are connecting to.  Sadly, there are multiple fixes for this, but depending on each individual, none of them may work.   Change your DNS to a public DNS, such as Google. There is a guide on how to do this here. Sync your windows clock.  You can do this by following a guide here. Delete all of you Riot Games/League of Legends/RADS/projects/lol_ait_client* folders.  When re-opining league it will automatically re-download these. Disable IP Helper in services.msc #5 - I have FPS problems in game
Make sure you graphics card is updated If you have monitors like me, you will need to change them from a Standard Mode to a "Game Mode",  Depending on the monitor they could be called something different. Turn down your graphics settings in game and on your control panel to the bare minimum.  If the FPS lag has gone away, then slowly increase them until you have the best graphics with your preferred performance speed. #6 - My mouse in game seems rubbery.  It sometimes isn't too precise.
In your control panel, change your mouse to the 6th out of 11 ticks on "Speed". If you have a control panel for your specific mouse (for instance, I have the SteelSeries Engine for my Senei), only have the actual speed turned up to where you would like it.  Anything that looks special isn't probably all that special.  Turn mouse precision OFF, this actually hurts you more than helps you.  The only thing you should be changing is the DPI settings to fit your preference for mouse speeds. Sometime this could be a graphics problem.  Follow the Steps for problem #5. #7 - I am stuck in Bronze 5 Due to %$*#ing retarded teams.  WTF.
This is a common problem and can be fixed by completing the following steps:
    Kill yourself.

I will update this when more problems that I have had in the past pop into my head.
