Kirkland Signiture ftw. It's GGoose in 4.5 liter bottles for $30. Also known as pure win.

Anyway, my prep will be convincing my wife to let me play all day Sat and most of Sunday and then grabbing lots of coffee, snacks and a bottle of Hennessy for the evening.

Can I sign up to join the PvE party?

lol! OK, Orange County. I do enjoy a good beer from time to time. Howeverrrrr... of all the premium vodkas out there, why Shmeeeeernoff??? Belvedere is one of my favorites... Square One, if you can get it... if you prefer potato vodka, theres Chopin... and of course goose is a standard go-to.

    Clear statement of needing OBS

I also like that they mentioned they may change rotations.

As far as Traits v Maps, I hope that out of a tournament we can save templates or atleast Trait Tabs for quick swaps before a map.

I don't really see the point of going from 8 to 10, the maps feel a little crowded as is imo. Zerg clusterfcks in a sPvP context seem a bit redundant to me as there is WvW...

    Name: Ishmael Khan

    Age (minimum 16): 20

Gamertags (for all systems you own: haschwon on steam, don't really use my xbox or ps3 anymore. 100% pure pc gaming !

How did you hear about vVv Gaming? Were you referred to the site? If so, by whom? Through team paradigm.

Who do you know currently in vVv Gaming? How do you know them? Nobody personally not as of now at least.

Why are you interested in joining vVv Gaming? I'm interested in vVv Gaming because it will provide me with a much sought out for opportunity to pursue the enjoyable career of a competitive player. I personally believe I have much of the capabilities and beyond to fundamentally win but I'm also looking for a lot of room for simply "moving up" and growing. I do enjoy playing MMOs for enjoyment but what I really love to do (whilst PvPing) is theory-crafting builds, creating strategic opportunities, learning from mistakes and counters, 'breaking' the game (not exploiting), and always trying to be faster than what I did before. I'm also looking for a good environment and community (with a lot of warriors) that I can bounce some ideas across and use some resources. Also you guys look like you know what you're doing and I'm looking for supreme organization in that regard.

Adding value is the most important aspect of being in vVv Gaming. From the following list, you must choose one method of adding value. We will evaluate your application based on how you tell us you're going to add value.

Okay I'll be contributing through content creation. I have everything lined up, I just need to sort my streaming program out. And my cousin and I know are ins and out's of after effects, and hes godlike when it comes to editing (creates his own videos for our youth center). We've both thought about teaming up and become content contributors on YT, we have the resources and what not available but that idea is still up in the air. Depending on how well GW2 booms, I'll most likely pursue making content and streaming through my twitch account.

Are you familiar with vVv's Geek to Me articles and The Losers Bracket podcast? If so, what are some of your favorites and why? I've come across and read over a few of the GeekToMe articles such as the D3 review, and the MLG eSports to the next level one. I didn't hear about the Losers Bracket podcast until I subbed to vVv's YT channels. I gave a few a listen and it sounds informative and entertaining, but it would be awesome if the pod-casts had titles to the content they were pertaining too so I could easily know what's going on before I click on em!

What games coming out are you looking forward to play and why? I've had my eyes on GW2 since late 2010. GW being the first childhood MMO I had ever come across, it would be fit for me to be excited for GW2 so many years later. MMOs are possibly they greatest genre of gaming to exist and I love it to pieces, I've played dozens of them and the ones I really like I stay hooked to for years. I'm also looking forward for some casual play with blade&soul, neverwinter, and TESonline in terms of MMOs in the future.

Regarding other games, I'm really looking at dota 2 right now in terms of moba's, the new item system has really got me interested in the longevity of the game.

With regards to FPS's, tbh (don't hate me) I'm actually looking forward to the new black ops 2 for PC. I heard the developers are aiming to make an esport out of this one so that definitely has me looking towards new gameplay and legitimate mechanics. I haven't seriously played fps' or a COD game in general since MW and MW2, but I'll for sure give this one a go.

Oh and the new next-gen playstation! When that badboy comes out you can bet that I'll be streaming it. I'm looking forward to that new final fantasy game right off the bat, the demo trailer at E3 from square enix has solely got me hooked to purchasing the console. (I also might give halo 4 a try, depending if my brother decides to brush the dust off his xbox again lol)

What are your hobbies and interests outside of gaming? Well I do a lot, I actively participate with my youth group. I consider it a more casual day-care, but its fun. We make videos, do recreational stuff, go camping. Just pretty much anything they want to do when get it done for them. I'm also an assistant coach with a local soccer team, its a rep team, there still kids but they play really good for there age (about 12-14 age). I've also been reading a lot of fantasy novels lately as well. I'm reading through the game of throne novels and am currently on DoD (great series).

What kind of competitive tournament experience do you have? In terms of actual gaming, I haven't been apart of anything professional to the extent of MLG, DreamHacks, or anything like that (yet). But I've been apart of a at least 4 - 5 100$ local dailies in Toronto whilst playing SC2. I've been to many a bar-craft sessions too and had my fun there. The infinity cafe which is where eSports Canada has its office, is literally less than a 5 minute drive from my house. I occasionally go from time to time. We also have about 32 2v2 bracket sessions at my college and other colleges/uni's that are have no prize pool but is still pretty competitive.

Outside of gaming, I play in both indoor (winter) and outdoor soccer leagues while semi-coaching as well. It's all local but I've been doing this for years and the competitive edge to win is always there.

Have you attended any national events (MLG, WCG, IPL)? Well considering I live in Toronto so far away from all the MLGs and IPL's watching streams is always my only option. BUT, last saturday-sunday (june 14-15), I was gifted VIP passes from a friend that works with ESC to go to the NASL grand finals. It was great, the crowd there was awesome. I actually met day9 as well as stephano's, liquidhero, and huk just to mention a few. Here's a few pictures I got from the camera stage on the red carpet (bad quality off my crappy blackberry):

In the middle is huk /w canadian flag. Stephano (left) and LiquidHero (right) Both in the blue, LiquidRet (right) and SlayersPuzzle (left)

What was your best competitive moment? What was your worst? My best competitive moment has to be the time I got matched with my high school friend James in a WCS preliminary. This guy would always beat me in sc2 and just completely cheese me 2 games then macro tank and let me suffer in the last game. I two 0'd him and then swept him with a sneaky mass muta rush to make it 3-0 it was a funny and a pretty awesome moment. I'm only a platnub now, and hes pushing top masters but it always makes me happy thinking about it.

My worst moment was definitely the first time I played sc2 for money, I practiced and practiced winning a majority of my games and then when I got placed into my first match... I choked and tanked so bad it wasn't even funny. I got swept so quickly it was like I didn't even enter tourney. All my build timings were so off, I was supply blocked the entire game and I had intense sweaty palm syndrome. I was so mad at myself cause I put a lot of hours getting prepped and hyping myself to fail miserably. This was a year and some time ago and it was pretty bad, but I think back about it now and I find it funny and it gives me more than enough motivation to keep doing better.

What do you hope to achieve, competitively? What I want to achieve? I want to formulate and essentially be apart of a unique, robust, and quick-witted team that knows how to claim victories but isn't afraid of losses either. I'm looking to meet people that are just like me that push themselves to 'break' the game, have a good grasp of their in-game surroundings and strive to be the best while just having fun doing it.

    - Spectator mode, yes please.

    - For Wellness week, my work had Krav Maga self defense courses for women (I'm sure this is much different than what you're referring to) but the best thing I learned from it is how best to knee a guy in the groin. Still waiting to testing it out... come at me, bro.

**Next question: how do you feel about gummy bears?

GW2: My major wish for the game is that there is an Observation Option/mode for Private/Rented Servers so that Esports can really take off for this game.

CB: I would start taking Krav Maga now if only I had the money, so that I could learn/apply one of the best martial arts in the world.
(probably finish learning korean before I can do it >_<)

    - They need OBS mode for Private/Rented Servers
    - Find their balance in Condition/Steady/Burst Damage and make all 3 tech viable. The biggest one to balance will be Conditions
    - They need to also iron out the usual bugs and such.

Sorry, I just realized my 'tone' may have come off wrong lol. I didn't mean to imply that I'm already set for BWE and don't need your input, because I welcome any and all feedback and guidance. I just meant it as a general suggestion that we should all have an idea of our plans and should definitely be thinking about getting a group together to practice.

I'd definitely be interested in picking your brain as well as getting in contact with Aluruad to discuss Ranger PvP. I've added you to Skype.

So vVv members, applicants, and just forum members, its time we start getting vVv active in the GW2 scene.
Please check out this website, sign up, get active, spread the world about vVv, and join the vVv Gaming group on their forums.

It's time vVv Gaming takes over the server we play on in GW2, the best way to start is to get our name out in the community.
