I think we should change that! My IGN is vVv NaturaL if you want to play some games sometime. If you play Heroes my battle.net ID is NaturaL#1203. If you have an Xbox my Gamertag is vVv xNaturaL. I'm sure others would love to hear from you also, so don't be shy around mumble or the forums

Thanks for taking the time to read my first official update since I've come back. After a lot of conversations with staff, community, sponsors, applicants and alumni, it was time to set a direction for vVv for the next 12 months.  We want to be transparent with everyone, so you can hold me accountable for working toward these goals. This reflects our commitment to help YOU create awesome community experiences.

When I give interviews, I make sure every member knows: "Ask not what vVv can do for you, but what you can do for vVv."  As I stated above, vVv Gaming is YOUR community. Staff is here to help YOU make it awesome.   Once again, this is YOUR community. We're here to help YOU shape, develop and grow vVv.

We've made numerous changes to staff. Here is where we ended up: Application Experience Manager and Forum Admin: vVv SugarBear (Facebook) (Twitter) Business Development Director and Co-Owner:  vVv RobZ  (Facebook) (Twitter) CoD Community Manager:  vVv B Easy (Facebook) (Twitter) LoL Community Manager: vVv C Wide (Facebook) (Twitter) Lead Designer: vVv Pherzghul (Facebook) (Twitter)  Lead Web Developer: vVv Bagzli (Twitter) Organized Play Product Manager: vVv NaturaL (Twitter) HotS Organized Play Associate: vVv Saturn (Facebook) (Twitter) LoL Event Manager and Forum Admin:  vVv Medusa (Facebook) ( Twitter) LoL Organized Play Associate: vVv Unverclopt (Facebook) (Twitter) (LoLKing) Team Experience Manager: vVv Bardo (Facebook) (Twitter) Coach, mentor, helper and he who shits upon bad kids: vVv LordJerith (Facebook) (Twitter)

    MISSION (for 2015-2016)

"CREATE AWESOME EXPERIENCES FOR COMPETITIVE GAMERS" (for 2015-2016)

GOALS have the highest rated organized play events as rated by competitive gamers have the most attended organized play events highest rated is more important than most attended be recognized as one of the best competitive gaming organizations in the world as rated by competitive gamers and our members be known as a talent factory by competitive gamers and sponsors

STRATEGY create and run organized play events for competitive gamers sponsor and develop amateur teams to participate in and promote organized play events partner and deliver value to sponsors that create products and services for competitive gamers create and evolve an identity that competitive gamers want create and manage a clear path for competitive gamers who want our identity create and manage an ecosystem that develops competitive gamers and future gaming professionals

    EXECUTION AND TACTICS
We now know where this big vVv Gaming ship is headed. We all know the mission. We know the objectives and goals we want to achieve, and we have strategies that tell us how to achieve these goals. This is actually the easy part. Now comes the hard part.
Each of the strategic items above will need executions and tactics. EXECUTIONS are what is done to deliver on or to coordinate a strategy. EXECUTIONS are products and services and experiences we deliver to help us execute our strategy that will help us achieve our goals to accomplish our mission. TACTICS are actions taken to achieve our strategy.
For example, the League of Legends Amateur Draft League (LoL ADL) is an EXECUTION (Product/Service) that helps us achieve our strategic objective of “create and run organized play events for competitive gamers.” How we set up the Mumble channels and how we name them are TACTICS.

As a vVv community member or applicant your EXECUTIONS should include: Recruiting good community members Engaging with applicants Supporting vVv on social media (Facebook) (Twitter) Being active in our forums, shoutbox & Mumble/XBL/ PS4  I hope this post helps everyone know who is accountable for what, and what we are focused on. I would love and appreciate any feedback, thoughts and/or suggestions. It's YOUR community, we're here to help YOU make it awesome.

I think Yeni would be a a great addition to vVv. As far as I can tell she has complied to all requests during her application period and has been very active on the forums, mumble, and in game.

As far as in game, she has been fun to play with. Whether we win or lose she keeps an enjoyable and positive attitude that makes her easy to play with. No one wants to play with a person who rages all the time and I appreciate that whether we win or get dominated (it's happened at times) her attitude stays the same. vVv could always use more people like Yeni in it's communities.

Last Hitting/last hitting under tower is by far the most important mechanic when it comes to playing adc. Off of that though there are times when you physically just wont be able to match the enemy laner in farm and youll want to know when yure stepping into situations like that.

For example if im playing vayne against a nami caitlyn lane chances are if theyre doing their job im going to be losing a substantial amount of health trying to last hit. That doesn't mean you should give up on farm just that youre going to be doing most of your last hitting near your turret. Last hitting under a tower takes a little getting used to but once you have a feel for your champions damage it becomes almost as seamless as farming in the mdidle of lane.

I agree on the rotations. Ive noticed a lot of adcs will be 5-0 after lane phase and still sitting in the bot lane even after theyve taken out the enemy's turret. Your advantage is a lot better used when you are with your team securing other objectives or further snowballing the lead you have.

Hitting the carries is nice in teamfights but if you have to walk through 5 miles of enemy CC and damage just to reach them youre better off just attacking those near you. Doing constant damage to the enemy team is always better than dying trying to chunk down the enemy mid laner in 3 shots.

Champion wise Caitlyn is probably the safest when it comes to learning as her range allows you to have some mechanics leeway that champions such as vayne don't recieve. As said above Caitlyn doesnt carry games as much as other champions but I have a feeling for the first couple of games you're going to be more concerned about learning the role than trying to carry games.

I agree that training your last hit mechanics is key.  Being ahead or behind 20 cs can make a huge difference in terms of itemization and useful stats that can either cause you to win or lose a lane.  Once you've mastered CS you'll want to work on positioning in team fights.  Just keep in mind that you don't want to be in range of any enemies that have abilities to kill you quickly or lock you down with hard CC, so stay in the back during fights and kite the closest target.  Unlike the jungler and solo laners your job is to just do consistent damage across the fight, and unless an enemy carry miss-positions and puts themselves in range of you it's not worth diving through the enemy team to try and focus them.  Don't let any bronze/silver player bitch at you for not focusing the carries, it's not your job.

Next up you'll want to work on rotations.  Generally speaking, most ADCs are terrible in 1v1 situations and rely on peel and team CC in order to help win fights.  As a result it's seldom a good idea to be split pushing by yourself and you should usually be with at least 2-3 other teammates at all times once your lane ends.  The goal for early game should be to get fed and take the enemy tower as quickly as possible so you can rotate mid, help secure dragon, and put more pressure on the map.  Return to bottom lane to defend your tower if the enemy bot lane still tries to push, unless you have a huge lead in which case it's best to take that lead and apply pressure elsewhere on the map.

If you are pushing towers and your team dives to get kills, it's often your job to focus towers first since you do the most damage to them.  In some cases (i.e. your team is super ahead and you have tanks who can dive safely even with tower aggro) you can ignore the tower and help your team clean up.

As far as which champions to learn, my personal recommendation would be Jinx.  She is all around a very strong and versatile champion with a lot of kill potential.  Other than her, Graves would be exceptionally strong in low-MMR games due to his high burst and kill potential vs bronze mechanics and positioning.  I feel like Caitlyn has fallen off a LOT since the IE nerfs, but you're more than welcome to try her out as she can be an amazing lane bully which will again work well for you in bronze, however you might find it difficult to carry even after winning your lane.
