About Me

Lee Brock is the Visual Media Manager for vVv Gaming as well as one of the guitarists for vVv's Rock Band, vVv Adrenaline. He was born and raised in Rochester, NH, where he still lives when he's not in school. A recent graduate of Bentley University in Waltham, MA (just outside of Boston), he majored in Mathematical Sciences and minored in Psychology. He is currently working full time as a Business Analyst at Liberty Mutual Insurance.

A self-confessed "terrible gamer" at most competitive games, he does excel at Guitar Hero and Rock Band. He first started playing Guitar Hero in 2007 and was immediately hooked. An active member on the Guitar Hero and Rock Band fan site known as Scorehero (http://scorehero.com) he's known as Brockbfball1563.

Scorehero led him to vVv Gaming in 2009 when he finished in 3rd in a vVv hosted Guitar Hero Tournament, and he quickly formed vVv Adrenaline to be the organization's first Rock Band. In addition to his work on Adrenaline he has also been on staff practically since day one, as vVv's Rock Band Leader, then the Rhythm Gaming Manager, then Director of Productions, Youtube Manager, Visual Media Manager, and finally vVv's Vice President of Visual Media.

Almost everything I wanted to say has already been said by Sugarbear, but I definitely feel the need to repeat that if you can't see yourself having the same drive and determination several months from now as you have now, and if you don't feel like you'll have the time to really focus on vVv, staff isn't for you. Being on staff can be extremely rewarding if you're willing to work hard, but speaking from experience and seeing dozens of staff members come and go during my time here, it isn't for everyone. In my opinion, saying that you were able to help run one of the greatest competitive gaming organizations in the world, and by far the best community in gaming, makes it all worth it.

Well it's official that I can't go. Plane ticket prices finally went down, but now too many people in my department at work have already asked for those days off (right near 4th of July), and it's first come first serve when it comes to time off. I don't know when or where the next MLG will be, but you can almost definitely count me in for that one! I hope everyone has a good time, and I'll definitely be watching from home!
