About Me

My name is Ryan and i'm 20 years old. I live in the town of Apollo which is a very small town about 45 min out of Pittsburgh. I currently have an Associate of Arts in Web Design, but I am going to be attending Slippery Rock University in the fall and I am planning on majoring in Information Systems. When it comes to gaming, I have been playing since I was 13 years old. My gaming career started through some of my friends from school. I had an Xbox but never played on Xbox Live, I just played the casual games here and there. Then when I was over one of my friends we were playing Halo 2 and I was hooked. Within the next week or so I had XBL at my house and was playing Halo as much as I could. Although I played a lot I was never really aware of MLG and the competitive side of the game. I did not come to know this until Halo 3. Through playing I met fragthat and we went to a local tournament. After that, we ended up teaming together and we went to Columbus 2010, this being my first MLG event. We didn't do so well there but I knew that it wouldn't be my last event. The next event that I attended was DC 2010, this being a combine and the first event for Halo Reach. For this event I was with fragthat and EXpoZuR, and we ended up placing 17th. Since then I have competed in 4 more events and have placed really well in 2 of them, 21st at Providence '11 and Top 24 at Columbus '12. As a team we have been improving and we are looking to make that push to a Top 16 placing at the next event.
