@  vVv SugarBear : (31 March 2015 - 03:43 PM) Some ISPs put an artificial cap on your bandwidth for certain services. For example I have Verizon FIOS which gives me 25 up and 25 down, but I can't stream with it at super high quality because they put a cap on how much of that I can use at once for streaming
@  boever : (31 March 2015 - 03:42 PM) what you mean rate limit streaming, sorry for all the question i'm clueless on the subject lol
@  vVv SugarBear : (31 March 2015 - 03:41 PM) There might also be an issue if the twitch server you were streaming to was overloaded, but that's less likely
@  vVv SugarBear : (31 March 2015 - 03:40 PM) @boever you shouldn't, as long as they don't rate limit streaming
@  boever : (31 March 2015 - 03:40 PM) because of the internet now all of thiss will be fixed with the 12 up right?
@  boever : (31 March 2015 - 03:40 PM) and also when i tried xsplit or obs i didn't response probably
@  boever : (31 March 2015 - 03:39 PM) now I won't have that problem right?
@  boever : (31 March 2015 - 03:38 PM) sometimes i have problems with bandwidth even at 750p
@  boever : (31 March 2015 - 03:38 PM) so bassicaly if i tried with this internet to stream
@  vVv SugarBear : (31 March 2015 - 03:36 PM) @boever it's the size of the pipe. So if you only have 4 up you can only send 4 Gb of data at once, but if you want to stream say at 1080 + have the game traffic it probably takes like 6 Gbps, so you won't be able to stream at that quality because you can't fit all the data into the pipe at once
@  boever : (31 March 2015 - 03:36 PM) I'm noob on this subject sorry :(
@  boever : (31 March 2015 - 03:36 PM) less lagg etc?
@  boever : (31 March 2015 - 03:36 PM) like i mean will i have less problems connection wise or easier to connect to people
@  boever : (31 March 2015 - 03:35 PM) whats makes the diffrence than between the the 40 down 4 up and 200 down 12 up
@  boever : (31 March 2015 - 03:35 PM) i'll ask this than
@  vVv SugarBear : (31 March 2015 - 03:33 PM) Just because you can send a lot of data at once doesn't mean the light travels faster
@  vVv SugarBear : (31 March 2015 - 03:32 PM) For gaming no, you're mixing bandwidth vs latency. Light only travels so fast so even if you have the best possible connection it still takes around ~200ms for it to cross the atlantic and hit the host in the US and back
@  boever : (31 March 2015 - 03:31 PM) download 40 upload 4-5 will i notice a diffrent when i have the download 200 and upload 12
@  boever : (31 March 2015 - 03:31 PM) with this one i have about
@  boever : (31 March 2015 - 03:31 PM) I'll say its like this
