Jacob D Wacker aka Spectral was in born May 15th 1990 in Portland Oregon and has spent most of his life there. His interest in games has always been consistent, but how he fit it into his life was a mystery to me. He was active in sports and four different bands as a bassist. His father was very demanding of his time as well, taking apart cars, putting them back together, painting them, motorcycles, boats, ect, but when he had a free moment, he was most likely planted in front of a PC or console.
His RTS journey started with Age of Empires two AoK, when he discovered the possibility of playing with people from all over the world. At that moment, being the best of you friends wasn't good enough only fueling his passion for completion inside gaming. In November 2004 he competed in one-on-one Halo one Game Crazy tournament for the first copy of Halo 2 in the west coast, placing second. In '07 he had an unfortunate accident diving into a lake braking his neck leaving him paralyzed from the collar bone down and use of his fingers completely. He continued with MMO gaming and was able to make world first quadriplegic 1800 as a priest (with two sticks strapped to his hands). When Starcraft 2 came out it was suddenly his time to strike and make his mark in the world of e-sports, Spectral joined vVv in December of 2010 and his been making impressions before and since.- Kevin Oakley
