Timothy Ng was born on March 24, 1990. He currently lives in Tenafly, New Jersey, and attends school at Montclair State University. He started playing real time strategy games when he was just eleven years old, when his friend introduced him to Starcraft: Brood War. He went by the gamertag NGry, when he switched over to Warcraft 3, when he was fourteen years old.
In 2005, NGry started playing World of Warcraft and gave up on real time strategy games because all of his friends had switched over to World of Warcraft as well. By 2008, NGry had given up on World of Warcraft and was back to playing Warcraft 3. NGry played Warcraft 3 casually as he graduated High school and started studying at College. Soon afterwards, NGry got into the Starcraft 2 beta and loved the game, thus deciding to take the game more seriously than his previous games.
In October 2010, NGry was approached by vVv's Starcraft 2 Manager Roar to become a part of vVv. To this day NGry continues to play Starcraft 2 and discusses strategy with many of his friends that he has met since joining vVv. Many of these same friends also motivate NGry to go as far as he can in Starcraft 2, professionally, because he is able to achieve what many of them dreamed of doing while growing up; play and be able to compete with the players that they watched on streams while growing up.
