About Me
Hi everyone,
My name is Adam "Uzi" Wedekind and i'm a 21 year old student at UMD College Park. I play for the VVV Call of Duty 4 team and currently sport the SMG full time.
Gaming Background:
I grew up playing Everquest way back in 1999 when I was just 9 and then moved over to FPS when I fell in love with Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Played cal-m in RTCW and then moved to Call of Duty 4.
Despite never playing Call of Duty 2 I quickly became a force to reckon with after season 1 of cal-o and getting a new computer. As a new face in the cod community I didn't get a break until I was recognized carrying Chronic Insanity through cal-o season 2. After that it was a few team moves here and there. Area 51 cevo-p and Loaded cevo-p and finally found my home in VVV after 4 years.
Accomplishments:
CAL-O season 2-3: 1st place MUG N MOUSE / Awakening
CEVO-A season 5: 1st place with Digital Excellence
CEVO-P with Area 51/Loaded: Season 4
GXL LAN 2007: 2nd place
GXL LAN 2008: 1st place
GXL LAN 2011: 1st place in COD4 and Blackops
Digital Overload (Baltimore): 2nd place Mortal Kombat 9 tourney.
NERV3: Lost in groups (Team Channel 6)
NERV4: 3rd place (Digital Excellence)
Ignite Challenge: 1st Place and Overall MVP
Ignite Challenge 2: TBD with VVV
My Life outside video games:
In 2010 after 20 years of being really overweight and obese I decided to change my life. Being close to 400 pounds I have dropped all the way down to 245 lb. At 6'6" I run triathlons and Marathons as a hobby and joined a tri club. Now healthier than ever I feel it actually makes me a much happier gamer and a better gamer. So if any gamers out there need any fitness advice, i'm your guy
