Ben Cardwell is a 20 year old gamer, something he has always been.. He played sports during the day, and played games at night. He most likely would have pursued a tennis career in college, but was benched by a back injury that is still being resolved, today. Currently, he is going through rehab to fix the damage that was caused. Due to this, he has decided to go pro in another passion: Gaming.
Before he decided to play Starcraft 2 full time, he was a student at IUPUI, where he majored in English. Ben also tutored peers in the University Writing Center. Before that, he went to high school in Indianapolis, Indiana at North Central High School, where he played tennis and won state with his team in 2007. He was also the editor-in-chief of the school magazine.
In the past year, he�s been able to travel to three different LAN events. These events were: IEM New York, MLG Dallas, MLG Columbus. To him, these experiences really solidified, in his mind, the fact that he does want to pursue a career in gaming. He sees himself as a talented player who can go as far as he wants too, with some discipline and hard work. He believes that the possibilities are endless and that is what motivates him to push forward.
