Hey, my name is Joey Meyers.  I turned 13 in February.  Good-bye tween years, hello teenage years.  I am going into the 8th grade in the Fall, and will be shooting for straight A's.  I also run cross-country and play baseball for my small middle school.  In the Spring of the past school year, we were doing batting practice and I was playing Right Field and the sun was brutal that afternoon.  With no sunglasses you can't see anything when the sun is that bad.  A hard line drive was hit in between the center fielder and me, and as I was running I put my glove in the sun, but I couldn't find the ball and got hit in a lot of areas of  my left eye.  It was swollen shut for about 4 hours and went to the hospital that night and I had seam indent of the baseball on my cheek bone and above my eye it was all black and purple.  I would be out for about 3 weeks, and got to participate in the championship game in which we won.  It was quite a baseball experience this past season, and I am looking forward towards next season.  I thank vVv Doctor for introducing me to this fine gaming organization.  I have only heard postive remarks about vVv.  I hope to one day become a vVv member and spread the good word.


Video Games: My gaming career started when i was about four years old with the Sega.  I have started again with the Sega about a month ago.  Man, what a difference with graphics and controllers compared to X-box.  I have been playing the original Toy Story game for it.  I had a blast as a little kid playing it, and am enjoying it again at 13 years old.  It brings back a lot of fun memories.  As the new Toy Story had recently came out, I thought thought to myself that playing Toy Story again would be awsome, and is still for me.  Then at about six years old i went to the Super Nintendo and Gamecube.  Then, Play Station 2 from about 7 years old to 10 years old.  My favorite games were Sly Cooper, Kingdom Hearts, and Crash Bandicoot <3
Then 2 years ago it was all about the X-Box 360 and some of Nintendo Wii.  I mainly only play the Super Mario Bros. for the Wii with my mom.  X box is just a second life for me.  I have recently been sucked into the world of World of Warcraft.  I have been on the 10 day trial and soon to buy the complete game.

vVv: I would like to become very involved in the community.  If I become a member, I would like to help others around the site and introduce new people to the site.  I have learned from friends that being a member in vVv is a big responsibility.  Once I believe that I can handle this responsibility I will re-apply to become a community member and give it another try!
