Hey, everyone. My name is Vince, but you'll see me just about everywhere as either GanonMetroid or Man of Popsicle; both are pretty common handles of mine.
I use basically any free time I have to be a lazy bum, and sitting around on my ass is a favorite hobby of mine. When not doing that, I enjoy playing music, and have been a musician my entire life. I've jumped around from piano to saxophone and dabbled elsewhere, only recently settling on bass guitar, which I love.
From as early as I can remember I've played video games. Unlike most people, the games of my childhood were DOS games, like Commander Keen. When I was in elementary school, I bought Link's Awakening for Game Boy, and since then I've been a huge Zelda fan. With the exception of the recent DS titles, I've played every game in the series, and beaten all of them except Zelda II.
When I was 16 my friend brought Guitar Hero II over to my house to play. I remember when Guitar Hero first came out, and honestly thinking it looked dumb. But when I played it I couldn't help but want to play more. I loved it, probably because it combined by two favorite hobbies. Shortly after I bought a PlayStation 2 and Guitar Hero II, and went all the way from easy to beating Free Bird on expert in 2 weeks. I never stopped playing, and eventually unlocked the coveted Log guitar. Sometime around then I was introduced to scorehero.com. At the time, the top players put me in my place. I was better than my friends but these guys blew me out of the water.
I've gotten plenty better since then, and I'm getting better all the time. The most important thing is that I love the game, and I don't think I'll ever stop.
