About Me

Welp! Let's see, I was originally born in Long Beach, CA in 1994, then in 2001, moved to the DFW area in TX due to my dad's new job opportunity. I have lived in the area ever since then and don't regret anything! I love everything about Texas, the sports, education, weather, community! (MLG Dallas is just a nice perk  Posted Image ) As far as school goes, im currently in the summer of my junior year of high school, and will be graduating around this time next year. As far as my plans after high school goes, I am hoping to be heading to College Station, TX to attend Texas A&M University with my major being Aerospace Engineering.

Now onto family! I am thankful enough to have two married parents of 20 years, and one sister who is a junior in college at Texas Tech University. Out of all of my relative, we (my family) are the only ones living outside of California, so I don't get to see them as much as I would like to. But it is always nice when I get to visit (both my family and the GREAT weather).

Some of my extracurricular activities are swimming, wakeboarding, golfing, fishing, hunting, gaming and traveling just to name a few. My activities pretty much go with the seasons, hunting in the winter, golfing in the spring, wakeboarding and fishing in the summer and fall, and gaming and traveling ALL YEAR LONG!

For gaming, I am a Call of Duty player. I've been gaming competitively since 2009 starting on gamebattles playing the usual team ladders on COD4. Then once PCL came around, I made the permanent switch to 4v4 MLG gametypes. I've been teaming with the same 3 people since the second season of MW2, and actually just picked up a very promising 4th about a month ago that im sure will be with us for awhile. Although we have been placing very well in 360icons/Gamebattles tournaments, we are now starting to play LAN's as a team, and we will be competing in MLG Orlando 2011 in October, our first LAN as a roster. We have high expectations from the success we are having on ps3, scrimming against what many to believe the "top teams" on Black Ops. Hopefully when Modern Warfare 3 comes out, MLG will continue to show support towards keeping COD on the ladder, and my team and I will continue to grow in both chemistry and skill.

Although I take my gaming very seriously, IT DOES NOT, AND WILL NOT EVER take the place of my social life, education and career. What I mean by this, is although you can make money from gaming, it can not stand up as a serious career in the state of eSports, so at some point, I am going to have to put the controller down. Although I don't see that happening any time soon  Posted Image. Even with the many hours I put into my gaming, I maintain a 94 gpa, and am in the top quarter of my graduating class. I am still very social, and go out regularly to hang out with my friends. This, I believe, is not found among many competitive gamers, and I take great pride in this "skill" of separating my gaming life from my real life.

I think that's about it! Pretty much my life in a nutshell, but if you have any questions about anything don't hesitate to ask! I am always up for helping out people in need. You can always reach me on vVv, XBL, PS3, Twitter, Facebook.

Thanks alot!
Eric/Corrupt
