  • Name: Austin Weik
  • Age: 29
  • Location: Fort Collins, CO
  • Steam profile link: http://www.steamcommunity.com/id/apoyyo
  • Battle.Net Tag: Apoyo#1236
  • What is the game you are currently most active in and why? (only name one game) I've been playing Rocket League very actively for about the past year. I can't seem to put it down. There's just that side of me that constantly wants to improve and I've still got plenty of room to improve.
  • What are some other games that you currently play? I've been playing some PUBG every now and then and I'll be also on Destiny 2 when it comes out.
  • How did you hear about vVv Gaming? Were you referred to the site? If so, by whom? Sauceboy Eikon actually referred me to play in the Supersonic Series some time ago, so that's how I ended up here. I first heard of vVv from as far back as Halo 3.
  • Who do you currently know in vVv Gaming? How did you get to know them? Sauceboy Eikon- I first met him on Rocket League when I first started playing on Xbox. He took me under his wing when I was just a silver and helped me learn the game and progress.  Petey- I first played with Petey during the Supersonic Draft. I've seen him around in discord and we play every now and then. Deathsgrasp- I first met Deathsgrasp through Sauceboy about a month ago and we played some comp 3s. We had a good time then and got matched in a Ranked match today and have been playing for several hours today, thus the reason I'm here now. Broba- Someone who I just had the pleasure of meeting today. Get us both in a lobby together and I guarantee you can't tell our voices apart... It's actually kinda creepy haha.
  • Why are you interested in joining vVv Gaming? So far, everyone I've met has been great. It's a fun community with some competitive, skilled players and a long running history. Why wouldn't I be interested?
  • What are your hobbies and interests outside of gaming? Outside of gaming, I love getting out to play disc golf when I have time during the Summer. In the winter I'm all about snowboarding. My mountain of choice is Keystone.
  • How do you plan to add value to vVv Gaming? I play on participating in as many events as I can. I also enjoy streaming and would be on board to stream the events that I participate in to help promote the community.
  • Do you attend LAN Events? I haven't attended any LAN events unfortunately. I've always wanted to go but something always ended up falling through. If there were any local events, I'd love to be able to participate or at the very least attend.

I, vVv SauceBoy Eikon, endorse Apoyyo!

How much time have you spent with the applicant, in-game or out?

  • I have played for several months with the applicant, first on xbox and now on pc.

What was your first impression of the community member? Did it change at all over time? If so, how?

  • When i first meet apoyyo he was very out going and had a passion to play games. Still to this day he has the same drive. However, i have noticed that he is very patient with what he does and he works hard to get better at anything he notices that he needs to improve on.

What was your favorite moment with them (in-game or out)?

  • My favorite moment with Apoyyo was when we were playing a 2s match on Rocket League and we were losing by 3. However, we found a way to come back and win with only 2 minutes left on the board.

What makes this applicant a good fit for vVv Gaming?

  • Apoyyo makes a great fit for this community because he has a knack of being able to get along with anyone. He also has the ability to work hard and bring his skills to make this community better.

How could they improve to be a better potential community member?

  • All i can say is that i think he needs to attend our draft tournaments more often.

Anything else we should know about this applicant? Any skills or talents that no one else knows yet?

  • He is very lucky, because he gets to travel a lot for work. (wish i had a job that let me travel that often)
