Pretty much what I expected out of the quarter finals in the NALCS.  C9 just looked like they needed a warm up game in the first game of the series.  After that they looked pretty solid and I never really doubted that they would beat Envy.  I was a little surprised that their comp in game one wasn't enough to take the victory, seeing as their 2nd game team was nearly the same comp with thresh over Tham.  They had a solid comp with a lot of peel and damage to take standard team fights, but in long games anything goes after a certain point.

CLG vs Liquid I expected to be a little closer than it was.  Games one and two, CLG had decent control over the game.  Liquid did have a nice push in game two where they took two towers and three kills in a fight almost turning the game.  Then CLG came in with a near clean ace and the game was down hill for Liquid from there.  Game three was a dominate performance from Liquid and it looked like they might be able to reverse sweep it.  Dardoch looked really strong on Reksai and managed to get his bot lane pretty far ahead.  They also just played the map really well and defended objectives well, only letting CLG take two towers.  But game four was just a disaster for them.  Giving Stixxay a 3/0 lead in the bot lane will never end well for you.

Should be a good semis!

Finally got around to watching all the games!  I felt so bad for CLG.  TSM essentially got a free ban on Huhi for the entire series.  I still think that TSM would have taken the series but I think CLG could have taken a game off of them if they didn't have to change their approach after the remake.  Unfortunate bug to have to deal with in the Semi-finals.  How about Impact as well!  He showed up and dealt with the jungle pressure flawlessly!

So with that TSM have locked in a spot at worlds and IMT will have to run the gauntlet no matter what.  If TSM wins then CLG advances on the 2nd place seed to worlds.  If C9 wins, then TSM advances on the 2nd place seed and CLG goes into the qualifier.  Should be an exciting weekend!
