We have moved to Discord   08/04/2016

There has been a strong desire among the community to migrate to Discord for quite some time. As of today, our community will be using Discord and as a result, we will no longer be actively using our TeamSpeak Server.  The TeamSpeak server will temporarily stay active to help inform all of our move to Discord. Within the next couple of months, it will be shut down completely.  For a quick invite to our new Discord server, you can click here.

vVv Gaming is pleased to announce that Rob "vVv RobZGod" Thompson has been promoted to VP of Operations. Originally joining vVv Gaming as a console player for Gears of War in mid 2007, Rob represented vVv as a player for several major tournaments with vVv Destiny. He later went on to Call of Duty where he led vVv Essence to top online finishes. In late 2011, he began writing blogs about his experiences as a player to help young gamers understand the fundamentals of competitive gaming. His role as a writer led him to Marketing Manger where he developed creative and authentic strategies to engage the community.

In his new role, Rob's main responsibilities include the daily operations of vVv as well as overseeing the continued growth of the organization. "Rob has been associated with vVv Gaming since 2007, and has since developed into an invaluable knowledge source on eSports and marketing. His relentless commitment to quality and pursuit of excellence are perfect for this leadership role in vVv Gaming," said LordJerith, President and Founder of vVv Gaming. "Rob doesn't just get things done, he raises the quality of work done by those around him."

When I asked Rob about his promotion he had this to say:

The lessons and experiences I’ve gained both as a player and person are invaluable to me. Growing up with competitive gaming and vVv in my life has been such an developmental and life-changing ride. As VP of Operations I will continue to share my knowledge and experiences with gamers to make their time in vVv enjoyable and above all, educational. I will also be focusing on identifying more opportunities to ensure that we're reaching our goals.
