New Supersonic Series Start Time   10/17/2016

We would like to thank everyone who participated in our recent survey regarding the start time of our tournaments.  After reviewing responses from the survey sent out to tournament participants we have decided to make changes to the start time of our events to try to better accommodate everyone.  Beginning on Monday, October 24th, all of our tournaments will start an hour earlier - at 8PM Eastern.  This means that registration will close at 7:30 EST, and that check-in starts at 7:30 EST and closes at 7:45 EST.

I'm curious to see what the rest of you are using outside of the case and why.

Keyboard: Logitech G15. Given to me as a gift several years ago and I've since grown used to the key spacing and layout. Some people think it's a gimmicky keyboard but it's actually not too bad.

Mouse: Logitech G9x. This mouse is amazing IMO. Cheap when I got it ($65) and is worth every penny. Adjustable weights and grips. Feels great.

No fancy mouse pad for me although the one I'm using has a really cute kitten on it. It's justified.

QSenn DT-35.. the keyboard across all PC bangs in East Asia. Just used to the feel of it from habit... I originally had a filco

razer-deathadder-gallery3.jpg

Deathadder.. just getting more used to it now.. it was really only ever a backup mouse but since my main broke I've started using it instead

Steelseries 7g. I've had a chance to try a few different types of keyboards and switch types and the black steelseries switches are the best I've found for gaming.

I use a deathadder mouse but will probably be replacing it with a kinzu v2 pro edition ASAP. The sensei looked nice and feels nice, but the side buttons get in the way for me. Makes moving around difficult.

Currently Use:

  • Steelseries 7G - after useing it, would be very hard to go back to a membrane keyboard
  • Razer Death Adder - I really can't seem to find a mouse that I ever like; I used to use a Steelseries Ikari (it has a similar feel) but it broke and the store near me didn't carry it anymore >.< the Death Adder works for me all the same though.
  • Logitech G13 - I tend to use this more for MMO games, however I have adapted using it in SC2 and MOBA's as well. Gameboards are simply amazing, after 2 years it's hard to not use one at times.
  • Steelseries Siberia v2 - hands down my favorite headset I have owned. (and I've gone through probably 8 in my life)

daskeyboard Professional S - I've been able to try out others from razer and steelseries but I find that it's the best mechanical keyboard, period.

Razer DeathAdder - Had my first DA for 2 1/2 years before it finally gave out and went out and bought another, just a great mouse.

Logitech G930 Wireless Headset - 7.1 Surround sound and wireless, charges from a chord plugged into one of my USB slots and has about 7 hours of bat. life.

Huge ass, cheap-as-shit mousepad.

Saitek Eclipse Keyboard: Buttons are nice and smooth, probably going to switch to a Logitech G19 soon though, just for the looks.

Razer Naga Molten Edition: Buddy bought it for me for my birthday, Awesome mouse, nice for MMO's And all the buttons make my Hotkeys easy for Sc2

Mouse- Razer Lachesis

Keyboard-Razer Lycosa

Headset-Razer Banshee Headset :D

Mouse Pad- Steelseries Glass Mouse Pad.

Does anyone else find that some of the Razer products need to be unplugged and plugged back in periodically to function properly? If I don't replug stuff all the time it will randomly die mid game and I will have to pause and unplug it then plug it back in.

Umm, I've only had a cacharis headset and deathadder mouse from razer and both functioned properly, however, I've heard almost every other mouse has issues and the cacharis headset never fit very well and the cord got tangled easily.

Just recently updated my equipment!

Headset: Turtle Beach X12

Mouse: Razer Deathadder

Keyboard: Qsenn DT-35 USB

A lot of pro's use the Deathadder ie: CrunCher, Hasuobs, MorroW, BoxeR, MMA, NaNiwa and SeleCT.

Also pros that use the Qusenn: Moon, MarineKing, NaDa, ForGG, TLO, Mvp, LosirA, DeMusliM and ToD,.

Source: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Pro_gear

The best part about this equipment is the keyboard is only 30$ on ebay and the mouse is 50$ on amazon!

Your real options are either Das Keyboard (blue switches) or Das Keyboard S (brown switches) if you're not going Steelseries (black switches).

Can't think of a reason I'd buy a razer keyboard...
