Gears Of War

Perilous - - I have not seen coaching like this since Skippy. Easily the best coach on the Gear's circuit. Ryan is just an excellent person, and has rapidly grown to be both a great GM and great Coach. I'm proud to call you friend, and you truly demonstrated you ARE vVv Gaming. Great PR person. Improve: Learn more from me about the game. Learn to repeat call outs from players more frequently (between the ends like Mephisto and Enmity)

Enmity -- This is a person who leads by example. His passion and dedication to his team is 100%. He was the consistent workhorse of the team. I can't believe that this person has gone from total gears Noob to MLG Semi-pro in such a short amount of time. He knows how to treat his team. I love our late night chats. Improve: Pistol and Lancer use.

Mephisto -- If anyone wants to know how to add value, ask mephisto. He risked his e-rep, his personal belongings and his safety to play on this team. And did he play! His clutches were so dirty. . . How does he do this on no sleep? I just love his play style and his attitude. Welcome back to vVv Gaming! Mephisto likes to walk around in a towel. . . that is all I am saying. Improve: Learn to mix things up, learn to put that sniper away sooner and support, even if it doesn't seem needed, a lucky one shot from the other team can turn things around. Put it away faster!

Sundown -- A very smart player. A great team player. He called out strats like a total champ. He understands the game. I see a bright future for this player. Very mature for being only 15. I'm quite sure Sunny has more issues than Time Magazine, and I enjoyed reading every one of them ;-) Impressive person. Improve: Shotgun, learn to not be a coach while playing, learn to rely on your team for intel and callouts. Be more aggressive when team has the advantage.

RobZGod-- You were consistent, you demonstrated a strong shotgun, and you were willing to give things a chance. You are a tough guy to make smile, but I did get him to laugh. . . even when he didn't want to. Improve: Learn to work with your team and be upbeat. You are way too critical during matches. You can be very stubborn, and you damage your team's chemistry. . . a lot of potential here, but attitude must be improved. As you get older, this will fix as you become more mature.

R-Man: You are one of the funniest people! You made me laugh so hard that I cried. Please, never lose that wonderful sense of humor! I didn't watch prophecy much, but I did watch R-man 3 piece. . . clearly came ready to play! Ask him about the value of pizza, and how he likes to be touched.

Mrs.V: Brilliant PR and you're a dirty bird! ;-) Can we even have an event without you there? YOU are gaming!

Uzzi: You are charismatic, a real personality, funny, witty and just all around a great person. A great sense of humor reflects a very great intelligence. Don't let this kid fool you. . . he is much smarter than he lets on! I am glad to have you back in vVv Gaming, and am so happy to have met you. Uzzi in public is something you have to experience at your own risk.

R6

Clipse: This is the best coach on the R6 Circuit. He knows his team, the opponents, the game and how to maintain control over everything. He never let's anyone see him sweat, and is just a cool cat.

Finest and Mr. X: These two are just too cool . . . they are charismatic, funny and most of all: they just have a good time. You two should do a porn together ;-)

BnG and Rooco: These two just never quit beasting kids. I wish I had more time to watch you play, but from the stuff I saw in scrims. . . it's just not fair. . . do you ever ask yourself, where is the comp?

Halo 3

I watched them play Carbon, the team for top 12 and Classic. . . you all know I do not play Halo. Today, I can finally say I understand why it is the MLG's main game . . . NOTHING takes this much team work. NOTHING! It is amazing to see it played at this level, and really watch all what goes into it. If you hate halo, then you don't understand it.

I will now say. . . this is what eSprots is all about. Breaking Point made me love Halo. . . I found myself so into it at times, when the other team tied a King of the Hill map with 0 seconds left. . . let's just say I'm not even sure what I said. It was great, and good job!

I have advice for the team, as I saw some things about their chemistry that if they were fixed, would make them a little better. . . or so I think. I'm afraid to post cause I'm a Halo noob.

Shoutouts: Nexy, Maggot for being the walking definition of cool, Rumbler for realizing he made a mistake, Dignitas for proving me wrong (I really wished we had played you), Cloud for not retiring and again getting shat on by vVv Gaming, Evander for opening his mouth and letting Destiny, Perilous, Clipse and me demonstrate a Japanese Bukkake, HD for losing his temper BEFORE playing us, ReT for placing 3rd, The Nsanez for finally getting good, Crank for having zero fashion sense (your wife let's you wear those jeans?), Deceptive for riding Dignitas's nuts in our SB, Jepz for his great predictions, an MLG staffer named Murray for his support, his professionalism and all he does for eSports! Thank you Murray! Thank you for everything!

I'm sure I forgot some people. . . but I must say that when I watched Destiny play against Frag D, and watched Maggot supporting his friend Mephisto, and watched them give it 100%. . . a small tear came to my eye, as I realized. . . pro players were being born before my eyes. Destiny, I am proud of you!

Good job to Destiny, Prophecy, Rewritten and Breaking Point. All top teams, faced hard challenged and overcame all of them. You guys still have some events to go to, don't lose focus of the big picture. Congratulations.

Great write up Jerry, I owe all my coaching skills to my competitive father, Lord Jerith, Clipse, Skippy and, of course, my loud voice. I have a lot to work on before Dallas I hope to shuffle things around to be able to go. Destiny really helped prove that gaming is not all about individual skills. I did not see one person just flat out carry and that makes me proud to be the coach of an up and coming TEAM.

First off let me say, Toronto is a beautiful place. I had a blast meeting Jerry and seeing Mrs V again, playing with my teamates and meeting all of vVv Destiny. Im proud of vVv Destiny, they stepped up and show why they are part of vVv Gaming! I will tell everyone about my whole trip in the blog i will write up when i arrive home tommorow after my flight. LETS GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Toronto was fun had a good time. Outside the event it was probably the funniest time I have ever had. Uzzi will be writing a blog and you will all understand why.

As for the event, complete disappointment. Dallas expect top 3 nothing less.

I <3 vVv. Amazing time. (besides the part with me getting threatend and me almost loosing all my ownings that I brought with me) Never in my head would I have expected Jerry to ask me to play with Destiny in warm-ups. The team was great. The only thing I think that was our down-fall was Mansion. We struggled on this map. Besides that I will write a little bit on my team.

Rob when you weren't getting pissed at your boom shots and bad moments you played great. You getting hyped when facing Hazard in champ bracket is what you need to continue doing. just be more posititive and less of a hard head.

Enmity your shotgun was amazing. I could watch you all day shitting on kids at snipe on grid when we sat next to each other. The only thing I would say is TALK LOUDER

Sun down you are one of the coolest people in person. You are a great support player and understand alot about the game. Work on your shotty game a little and you will see how much easier we will run through people.

Myself I felt like my shotty was great. My snipe wasn't were I wanted it to be. My pistol was on point with a ton of headshots. I need to do exactly what Jerry said.

vVv Destiny 9th place! Dallas will be better!

getting to meet most of you at toronto was such a relieve...it makes everything different in a good way when you can put a face to people you have known and played with for quite some time...i enjoyed watching destiny when i had a chance..and the rb6 and halo 3 team with perilous and jerry..and i was wrong about uzzi he is just as loud and crazy as he is online lol..and special thanks to perilous for coaching my team on our last match even tho we lost...but thats what you get with last minute teamates..but congrats to all vVv teams (especially in my opinion destiny) you all placed great keep up the good work hope to see you all again at dallas and hopefully be able to work my way back into vVv.

Great write up Jerry, and great job guy's. I hardly could contain myself watching Destiny play, Enmity a good friend just destroying kids. Meph also a good friend you did an excellent job, Sun very solid performance as well as Rob, Bp great job as well. Rewritten you guy's are amazing and it is always great to watch you guy's dominate.
