  1. Just a funny video Wargaming put out for the holidays as, every year, they give the players a free tank... unfortunately they generally kinda suck    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLmsrSM0qic
  2. Fallout 4 worth it?

I believe a lot of it comes down to: Do you like/enjoy open world games (such as GTA, Elder Scrolls, Just Cause, etc.) If yes, then Fallout 4 is likely something you will enjoy. If you dislike them (as i do... in most cases), than probably avoid it. Fallout 4 does have its issues and i believe is hyped beyond what it actually delivers, but i think even with the flaws it does what it sets out to do (and 2 of my friends have already put about 100+ hours into it, so i kinda take that as a sign that it does appease those that like the genre).   If you are brand new to the genre entirely then it is hard to say; Its fun, at times silly, and can give you many many hours of things to do, although there generally isn't much direction on what to do (aside from the main storyline) in open world games and the fun comes more from either the lore (IE: the people, quests, and events that make up the world), the tools the game gives you, or the modding community (which fallout has a fairly large modding scene).
  3. Visit Cyprus 12/9-12/21

    Have a great trip!
  4. While i wasn't really bothered if new characters or maps would cost anything (not a big fan of it but it is pretty standard in the market today), i believe this is probably best overall; second only to doing large scale "expansions" every 1-2 years. The main reason i say this is that when you start charging for additional content (specifically in an online only game) and put it out at a more rapid pace (ie: every 3-6 months) you start to segment the community. While i think Overwatch will do just fine for some time, other games such as Evolve and Titanfall dwindled quite rapidly, and their DLC model made it so that the pool of players people could game with grew even smaller.
  5. Lineage 2 EU Classic Offical server

I am glad to see this project go forward however i am going to avoid this. As much fun as i had back in the old days of lineage 2 (played mostly during C3 and again in C5 and had a blast with PvP and castle sieges on my necro and warcryer) I can't say i would want to do it again. The endless hours of grinding for 10% of a level, Soulshots, Grinding for gear, having to borrow gear and adena from guild mates, Dropping said gear >.<!!   Yeah, i have rose tinted goggles for the good times, but the investment was a real pain to get to things you really wanted to do. Although i kinda hope this server does well as i feel there is a void in the MMO industry for these kind of games.
  6. Not playing games as much as I used to.

I'm actually kind of in the same boat as you pherz. Pretty often i get home, relax for a bit and end up either just watching netflix or youtube, and even if i feel like playing a game i some times won't or i will just research a game but not play it. I tried picking up a few games recently and yet none of them really dragged me in past a few days. In some ways i think it's myself, but in others i think it's gaming in general. I mostly say this as the last game that really dragged me in wasn't too long ago (Metal Gear Solid 5) and i played maybe 80 hours before i was done (basically i played until the game felt repetitive and i was only playing for completion rather than fun). But everything else i have played recently hasn't been able to hook me and make me want to pick it up as soon as i get home (my list over the past month or so: SWTOR, FFXIV, Tales of Zestiria, Hearthstone, Archeage, Diablo 3).   Currently just looking forward to Blade and Soul as well as Overwatch, and kinda hoping they will reinvigorate my passion to game.
  7. Overwatch - Collector's Edition - Xbox One via Amazon

http://us.battle.net/overwatch/en/buy/   contains the origins edition (base game + 5 skins: as well as: Tracer Hero for HotS, Baby Winston pet for WoW, Card Back for Hearthstone, Mercy Wings for Diablo, portraits for SC2)Overwatch SoundtrackOverwatch Sourcebook (Illustrations book)Statue of Soldier 76  My guess is its gonna be around $100-$120
  8. thanks for making my decision easy Blizzard. Looks like i'm just getting the standard edition, $20 is a bit ridiculous for 5 skins and a bunch of fluff for other games i don't even play >.>
  9. Overwatch: My First Impressions

I get a lot of the same feelings about Overwatch as i did when Team Fortress 2 first released (and that's a good thing). The combination of MOBA and TF2 feel is a nice deviation and the larger roster compared to tf2 is a welcome sight as well. I'll have to wait until i can actually play the game, but i do look forward to it. I haven't played TF2 pretty much since it went F2P (before that i probably had 400 hours on my steam account on the game @_@) So it will be nice to get back into a team fps based around strategy and not just personal K/D/A.   Thanks for the review/opinions jerry, i look forward to trying this game out even more now.
  10. Join us!

well crap guess i need to stick with a class and get on it then. Do we have a count yet on who is playing what roles? i tend to be flexible with what i will play but currently leaning towards Juggernaut or Assassin. (i have both at 65, will gear towards dps or tank depending what we need.)
  11. Join us!

yaaay blow up everything! . . . <<secretly plays light side on all empire classes>>
  12. Server Transfer to The Harbinger

I believe you can make a free level 60 if you are subscribed after today (not 100% sure, i read that everyone gets a free lvl 60, but that may have only been to early access) If not, the leveling process is about 3x faster and you pretty much only need to do the main story (perhaps some planet story missions or solo flashpoints as well) There are a  few of us still working our way up from low level so you won't be behind at all.
  13. Rob Germany Trip from 10/23-11/3

hope you have a great trip; safe travels!
  14. Server Transfer to The Harbinger

If you enjoy the story telling aspects of RPGs than it is definitely worth a go. The gameplay is pretty fluid and class balance isn't too bad either. I'm not too caught up on the PvE aspects of the game, as i mostly played the game for PvP. However there seems to have been quite a bit of rebalancing for the leveling aspect of the game making it not feel so grindy and just makes it enjoyable. (specifically now that companions can switch their role between tank, dps, and healer, you can level with the companion you like the most and never feel like you need any downtime!)
  15. Introducing the Alliance System

Unfortunately i leave for a few days starting tomorrow, but when i return, I shall!
