  3. Congrats man, I hope the best for you and this community. I may have something to offer if you want to talk.
  4. Yep -- I'm keeping the one they sent me and returning the Alienware (eek they partnered with WAYYYY too many promo companies). This fucker Rocks man. I'm getting 2 more from RZR and Xidax, so hopefully they are good. I need to get the most graphics intense game and try to max them out. What games do you recommend?
  5. Product Review QUICK OVERVIEW 17.3" FHD Matte Screen Intel® Haswell i7-4710HQ NVIDIA® GTX 970M [3GB] Up to 32GB RAM 1TB Hard Drive 4+ Hours / 8.40 lbs 3D Score: 30,252 [Vantage] ASUS’s Introduction Black ASUS ROG G751JT-CH71 is a powerful 17.3 inch laptop with solid mobile gaming power with a Haswell Intel i7 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M graphics (ROG stands for Republic of Gamers) that will let you play all games on ultra- can handle all games and usual tasks and will work quietly and stay cool at all times, has a great Full HD IPS screen with matte finish, sturdy build quality and superior overall performance and multitasking level of 16GB memory and of course the Intel i7 processor with speed up to 3.5 GHz. ASUS ROG G751JT is offered with the 4th generation quad core Intel Core i7-4710HQ at 2.5 GHz speed that moves up to 3.5GHz with turbo boost dynamically when the tasks at hand require it and four cores can handle eight threads in parallel, 16 GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1600 MHz for super efficient multitasking, 1000 GB SATA hard drive at 7200 rpm rotating speed and Windows 8.1operating system. ASUS TurboMaster technology allows 5% overlocking for even better gaming and you can just switch it off easily for the battery to last longer. Anything you throw at this system will be handled with ease- including the most demanding programs and games. Generalized Hardware There are plenty of connections on this machine allowing for a more broad use of its hardware: Two USB 3.0 ports, a VGA connector, three audio jacks, Ethernet, HDMI and even aThunderbolt port can be found on the machine's right edge. Two additional USB 3.0 connectors are arranged on the left side, as are the rig's optical drive (a Blu-ray burner) and SD/MMC card reader. It is quite heavy, but getting a 17-inch screen on a laptop will do that. The dimensions are 16.4 x 12.5 x 1.7 inches (length, width and thickness) and a total weight of 8.5 pounds. While I can't fault a single inch of that frame for poor build quality, it is an admittedly (and unsurprisingly) cumbersome laptop. Keyboard and Pad The keypad doesn’t look very user friendly, but in all reality it’s actually very useful once you spend some time with it. Since it is a gaming computer, it does outline the W/A/S/D, more room for your thumb on the spacebar to jump usually, and the assortment of customizable keys with a quick shortcut button directly to Steam. Steam and ASUS have their very own unique gaming center menu that some like and some don’t (would rather stick to what they are used to). As far as the Pad goes, I, like many other users of this machine, couldn’t find anything wrong with the trackpad at all. The quality is actually set to your preference on how reactive it is to your fingers, the speed of the reaction, and has fine balance between tactile resistance and a soft landing depression. Using the trackpad for gaming, well I enjoy a mouse more but it is very easy to use if you play with it long enough. All in all the features at your fingers are smooth, gliding, and responsive to custom setups. Audio and Video The G751JT-CH71 (ASUS) has a powerful high definition NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M (you can customize the machine to be more powerful, but I took the mean, or mid-strength of the series (maybe a little on the upper end on a few things). The 17.3 in FHD anti-glare screen with 1920x1080 pixel screen resolution and 178° viewing angles allows for an extremely dominate clear and very crisp visuals with outstanding colors. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M 3GB GDDR5 puts out scores of more than 9.3K in the 3DMark 11 performance benchmark allowing its users to play extremely graphic card driven games. watch[1] The integrated Intel HD 4600 that comes as part of this Intel i7 CPU is about 30% faster than the Intel HD 4000. Sound quality is quite good too, you have the internal Bass Eye subwoofer for additional low-frequency impact and ROG AudioWizard utility letting you choose the right sound settings for whatever you’re doing and with preset modes for different games. The MX Conclusion The G751JT-CH71 (ASUS) is an excellent replacement for a gaming desktop that you can take with you anywhere you go! It’s definitely an extremely powerful machine capable of delivering everything it was designed to do; a media center, gaming machine, and portable. All of the hardware inside, the smooth and finger friendly keyboard/pad, it’s sleek design, and its user-friendly GUI’s has this product up for one of my top five (5) picks, two years in a row. This is my first written review of this and I have to say, in regards to the sound, video, connections, wireless connectivity, the powerful software, and mostly the ability to game on the go with a machine just as powerful as a desk top, I rate this product a 97% of 100%. The 3% is lost on the amount of time the battery has per cycle which is around 4-6 hours depending on what you are doing. The reason for the short times, obviously, are largely due to the powerful hardware (ie. Video/Sound Cards) which I am willing to sacrifice for. This was a quick review - a more elaborate review will be released in an upcoming gaming magazine!
  6. I may have known that before hand, but wanted this guy Bagzli (who I've been playing meeting tag with) to maybe talk to me a bit about a few things Sorry I wont do it again
  7. Jerry, I will come live you guys and work at Riot -- I can contribute while working where you all work -- get me in down there so I can get the fuck outta the US and work somewhere that i'd love to work at while living with good friends!

  8. Sounds like you may have found a special place in your gaming heart... thats cute
  9. Your profile seems alright -- good luck on the application! I hope everything works out!
  10. Alright so on Dec. 18, 2014 I was back in my room hitting the bottle pretty hard (it had been a freezing ass, long, wet [not the good kind from your special lady friend], with nothing but a huge hole and an adult sling shot, of course made of bungee straps, but most importantly a line of completely fucked up drunk people who are extremely interested in how this sling shit works [no I didn't tell them it shoots your stupid asses directly into the hole knocking your wind outta ya]) and smokin some cigarettes that I eventually ran out of and well when that happens, my drunk ass goes to sleep. My dad comes in after being at the bars with my mom - both drunker than Cooter Brown -- but all the cigarettes are put out the way they are supposed to and everything was fine when we went to bed. Well my Dad got up around 2:30, smelt something smoking, went to to the garage and an electrical fire had started in the corner just above a 44lb. propane tank, a 10 gallon jug of gas, 2 (5) gallon jugs, 3 2.5 gallon jugs of gas, and then I had 2 (5) gallon jugs of ½ and ½ that eventually all exploded, the propane tank blew up and was ejected 393' 4 ⅓" away from the property line (which was about another 75 yards away) and landed through my neighbors roof. Well needless to say, my entire house was engulfed in flames, and at that time I had an AlienWare 12 or 13 with all the "best of the best you could get" from IGN to review (which everything we review, we get to keep) and it actually burnt up in the fire as I would say, "Most likely the first thing to go" since it was on the same stool as the battery chargers that caused the fire. Long story short, I got everything I ever had (that I lost or something close to it -- except the fact that everything in that garage was given to me by my great great grand father, who passed it to his son, then the same, and son on ans so forth until it came to me and they all burn up in the fire). I am glad that my family and I made it out ok -- but the things in that house that were priceless to not only me but my siblings and parents.... Its truly a mind blowing experience, but what I saw today was even more mind blowing: I finally get my entire system of computers back including my Dual ASUS G751J (made into a 16-core), with 128 GB RAM, Dual MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G GFX Cards, my two 60" VIZIO screens (ones for TV and the other is for the CPU), and the best part of all besides the 150 games, my bed is adjustable with a remote and everything, built in keyboard and mouse tray for gaming/being lazy as well as the rolling messages. Thanks Allstate Insurance for getting me everything I could have ever asked for (including my $195,000 house paid for), thank to my parents for helping me with everything, thanks to my brother for letter me crash at his place while it was being rebuilt, and thanks to the gaming community for always being here no matter what i do! This is basically what I have, but better! Click here or on this to see what I am talking about it! Guys, one of these days they aren't going to be able to improve PC's, MACS', or VR's and are great grandchildren will turn the world into the Mockingjay movie, hahah! But no, I am also talking with a local company here that build some of the best gaming PC's in America (LITERALLY) and is interested in working with us -- I told him that I get to test one of the PC's out and keep it while he gives the other away as a prize in an event we have here at the site. Once I get him and his partner ready for a discussion, I will get the two heads of state involved so we can start getting some bad ass prizes! I've got 14 prizes donated so far, not only for this tournament, but the one I am going to host for CS:GO. watch[1]
  11. I was sponsored by SteelSeries while working for GSpy, IGN, PCGamer Mag, and then as far as e-sports teams, Team3d and Green Beret's -- I loved all the hardware they sent me to review and keep -- wish I still had that opportunity. I believe if vVv would allow me to start posting general gaming news as a staff member I could get a partnership/sponsorship through them and start doing reviews. I am a well known critic in the gaming industry and would be able to contribute to the industry as well as vVv as a Gaming Content and Review Specialist. I have an entire team that is about to open a new site, but would be willing to make a vvv-magazine.com (online magazine and have been in the industry doing what I do for nearly 10 years -- 5 less than I, but very well inducted and known in the news genre of online gaming. Let me open, register, and develop this domain name, magazine, and site (fully funded by domain, designers, integration from this forum or as long as you provide the software such as a forum registration to use a platform, we will make this happen as long as a gaming server community -- that will bring in 100,000+ daily users to not only this forum but the mag, and server comm. as well). I hope you think about this and make this happen soon because the more we develop, the better we will be in the long run.
