This was an exciting weekend for vVv Gaming Europe. Bringing 5 teams across 3 major titles, as well as Unreal Tournament 3 and Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 players, XL5 represented vVv Gaming's first major invest in European eSports. The results were fantastic!

Our Halo 3 team, vVv InterRacials, made it to the grand final to place second in a showcase that entertained the Halo fans in a 6 - 5 showdown. Considered by many fans to be the the most exciting Halo match in European eSports history.

Having this many teams and players place so high, the results demonstrated that vVv Gaming is able to successfully recruit top talent in the EU, the first North American based organization to ever do this. These results represent vVv Gaming's global commitment to bring top players to major LAN events . "I think for our first major event in the EU, we're very thrilled. vVv had beaten LoSt Cause to send them to the losers bracket before the grand final. In another dominating moment on map 4, BloodnGlory was able to tear apart the competition along with Rocco to tie the series at 2-2. Map 5 showed why Finest and Mr. X were added to the roster as frags were exchanged consistently between both.

LoSt CauSe progressed to the championship finals through the loser brackets. vVv, however, was waiting for them. The match to decide who would have the title of the grand champions of MLG Orlando was set. vVv won the final and MLG Orlando in the end 6 - 2.

vVv's Netherlands Halo team have booked their trip to Amsterdam for the Halo 3 World Cyber Games NL Final. The team qualified along with LLL, making those teams to two best at the event. This means both vVv and LLL will compete in Amsterdam in the grand final of the NL national qualifiers.

It feels great to play at the most important LAN tournament in The Netherlands and then be able to secure a spot in the finals. We all enjoyed the day very much and after we secured our spot in the finals our team and Inferno's (LLL) went to a lounge bar near the harbour to talk about the day and drink a few beers to celebrate.

On 27th of September in Amsterdam, the top two teams meet for the showdown to see who goes to Germany for the WCG World Finals.
