We have moved to Discord   08/04/2016

There has been a strong desire among the community to migrate to Discord for quite some time. As of today, our community will be using Discord and as a result, we will no longer be actively using our TeamSpeak Server.  The TeamSpeak server will temporarily stay active to help inform all of our move to Discord. Within the next couple of months, it will be shut down completely.  For a quick invite to our new Discord server, you can click here.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in our recent survey regarding the start time of our tournaments.  After reviewing responses from the survey sent out to tournament participants we have decided to make changes to the start time of our events to try to better accommodate everyone.  Beginning on Monday, October 24th, all of our tournaments will start an hour earlier - at 8PM Eastern.  This means that registration will close at 7:30 EST, and that check-in starts at 7:30 EST and closes at 7:45 EST.

Just over a year ago I had applied for vVv Gaming, not really knowing anything about competitive gaming or what vVv even was. To me, I was just a MMO gamer looking for a guild to call home. At first I was actually quite skeptical about a guild that would call themselves vVv Gaming as it sounded more like a business rather then an actual guild name. In time, I had made quite a few friends within the community, learned about the state of competitive gaming and eventually took on the prefix vVv for myself. This last year has been quite an interesting trip for me, I've had both good and difficult times, but when I came to the forums or vent, everything else would just go away. But even after all of that I wondered... who are all these people I now considered friends? In a mere two and a half days, that question answered itself.

I headed to Washington D.C. last weekend with quite an open mind, both towards the MLG event and about all the members of vVv that I would soon meet. At first it was kind of an awkward moment, I was walking all around National Harbor and yet I didn't see one person with a vVv logo. Thankfully I had technology on my side! I hopped onto my phone and started posting on twitter and the shoutbox trying to figure out where everyone was. Suddenly I got a call from Paradise and he told me everyone was across the street at a different hotel.
