Xai review

Xai mouse

Today I would like to review the xai mouse. First off I have never used a steel series mouse until I switched to this mouse. I was using a logitech g5 and I also tried a Roccat Kone mouse.

When I first plugged in the mouse windows automatically detected the mouse and it worked on the fly. I then preceeded to dl the drivers off the steelseries site. The file was easily accessible and I had the driver installed in 2 min. I then went to setmy mouse settings. I changed the cpi too 800 which I had previously used on my other mice ( also known as dpi). Then I changed the exact rate to 1000hz.

My first test was the old paint in windows. Running 1000hz on my old g5 and kone during circular motions would be choppy and jagged. With the xai the movement is smooth. The mouse is super responsive.

Counter-strike source test was the most fun of them all. The movement is smooth with no acceleration, negetive or positive.

The comfort of the mouse was the most suprising of all. Using a g5 for 2 years I was used to the shape of the g5, but the xai is super comfy and seems to be the perfect weight.

The XAI is by far the best mouse I have ever used. It has the most responsive laser, has a great feel, and as always looks good as well.
